Assam: ULFA-I executes two members for spying

The two – Lachit Hazarika alias Brigadier Salim Asom and Bornali Asom alias Nayanmoni Chetia – were killed on September 20, the ULFA said in a statement on Tuesday sent to media houses in Guwahati. The execution took place in Myanmar where the outfit has its bases. Salim had joined the outfit in the 1990s. While Bornali had joined the outfit in the year 2021.
