but again, we're just giving you a scene here. you've got heavy equipment and then workers out here carrying shovels and picks. and that's kind of how the work is going on here. india has been going through an effort to modernize your infrastructure, and even just driving here, the highway, you can see works projects to update and renovate the highway, but this has highlighted the fact that there are concerns about the aging rail infrastructure and concerns about human error, which possibly could have led to what officials have described as one of the deadliest rail disasters in a hundred years of indian history. paula? >> yeah, despite how the crews are working on the scene there to try to get it up and running, ivan, as you say, so many questions from families who have already been through really unspeakable tragedy in the last few days. ivan watson for us on the scene, really appreciate it, as we continue to check in with you. now, two more names will

that donald trump was making. i think what the district attorney is looking for here is a pattern of trying to -- of knowledge in the trump campaign and for the former president that there was no voter fraud in 2020. now, the district attorney, she is investigating efforts to overturn the election in georgia and she's expected to announce whether there will be any charges in that investigation in august. so this is one where we just have to stay tuned, jim. >> all right, jeremy, we will do just that. thanks so much. we appreciate it. we're following the latest developments out of india where rescue teams are combing through the aftermath of the country's worst rail disaster in two decades and halted operations for the night but survivors describe a horrifying scene of mangled steel and dismembered bodies. cnn's ivan watson is on the story for us. ivan, what's the latest. >> reporter: indian government officials are describing this as one of the deadliest train accidents that this country has seen in a century, a staggering
scant comfort for his mum. translation: maxim had| the opportunity to evacuate with ivan, but due to the fact - his comrades remained there, he said he would not leave them. he knew that he would i never return from there. we still can't believe it. my soul has been ripped out. i have to live only i for the fact he saved his younger brother, ivan _ i no longer have a soul and no more heart. - maxym and ivan were their only children. ukraine won't say how many more have been killed or injured in this war, but the cost to this family and to this one small town with yet more freshly dug graves shows it's extremely hard to bear. jonathan beale, bbc news, tomakivka.
i was bleeding heavily. because i'd already experienced war, i knew that i wouldn't survive, but my brother didn't let me die. he saved me. the graphic video of ivan's injuries, still holding ukraine's flag, soon went viral. too dangerous for medics to enter the city, maxym had pierced his brother's airway to stop him choking. he stayed by his side for the next nine hours. when ivan was finally rescued, maxym chose to stay in bakhmut to fight alongside his comrades. he was killed a week later by a russian sniper. his act of self—sacrifice, scant comfort for his mum.
