home. >> pete: unfortunately they seem to match the values of new jersey which is pushing radical gender theories into kindergartens now into elementary schools as well. >> right. >> pete: christina, is this an intimidation attempt? try us and if we do we will put you on your heel? >> oh, absolutely. there's no doubt in my mind that that's what this is. it's just to, in my opinion, scare not only us but from other parents speaking up and probably just to hit us with as many legal fees as possible. >> pete: kristin, what's your message to other parents who might see this and they are scared to speak up because they will be targeted? what's your message to them tonight? >> my message is we have one chance to get this right with our children and we are their last line of defense against this agenda. and i say speak out. who cares what they call you. you know your truth. you are on the right side of history. and, again, we are the last ones. we have parents, grandparents, teachers reaching out to us
>> trump has repeatedly attacked pence, calling him a coward, for not agreeing to certify the election. how much could pence's testify today draw additional trump ire? >> absolutely it very well could. but as kristin was saying, we need to remember that mike pence just like donald trump fought this subpoena. they went to bat to try to push back against it. the former president's push to say that his former vice president shouldn't testify, it didn't go anywhere. it was not agreed upon in the courts which is why pence had to go today. this was always going to be looking ahead politically for mike pence, assuming he does officially decide he is going to run for president against his
beside. our reporter is outside the federal courthouse in washington where mike pence appeared for hours today. what more are you learning? >> reporter: wolf, we never saw make pence inside this building today but sources have confirmed that he was here all day with that grand jury investigating january 6th. and kristin holmes, my colleague at cnn, did learn pence's testimony lasted five hours. that's a significant amount of time for the former vice president to be in a room with grand jurors looking the at possible criminal charges related to the 2020 election and donald trump to be talking to them, speaking about what he knew, what he saw, what he felt, and what donald trump said directly to him. when we looked at this investigation, this is by far the most significant, legally significant, historically significant, politically significant moment of the
