will be different for the people of the texas department of public safety tomorrow morning? >> well, dana, we are more involved than we've ever been in terms of border security. the past two years and why we're talking about this topic the administration has dismantled every policy put in place. they canceled the construction of the border wall and took away every viable tool from u.s. border patrol to do their job on the front lines and enforce criminal work and seeing the mass migration between the ports of entry. yesterday we started taking a pro-active approach. governor abbott made it clear in march of 2021 operation lone star we weren't going the wait for the administration to take responsibility for their actions we would step in and do the job and what we've been doing for two years. yesterday we cleared out brush along the river and we put razor wire along with national guard to stem the flow of people coming across between ports of entry.
