get to today and where we are heading in because there's been some serious questions about the democratic front-runner joe biden and also pete buttigieg having to do with race, some controversies. >> the one thing i keep pointing out in my own head on twitwer you guys is essentially joe biden does very, very well with african-american voters. this was his base. he was at 49% of the democratic primary among african-americans, just 32% among whites. compare that with pete buttigieg who's also had his issues revolving around southbend and the police department. he's just polling 1% nationally versus 9% with vite voters. i think there's another way to look at this and this is favorability ratings. among african-americans specifically joe biden, 88% of black democrats have a favorable rating of him. skrurs s pete buttigieg 49% have never heard of him. if this is the first news you're
