and a people that has been voiceless. zooey i zephyr said this morning, two nights ago to me, that when she was ousted in the legislature in montana, she got support from native americans who had said we are also erased in history. and we need to not be. >> yes, sir, let me first say thank you for having me, and i'm a seminal native american, the third seminal being there. my mom was the second seminal. so, i'm the first daughter of ever served and her mom's seat in the state of oklahoma. and as we represent generations of native americans in private countries in the legislature, oklahoma has 39 federally recognized tribes. but yet, we have no full blood native americans serving in our legislature. tribal country impacts our economic development by tons in our state. they give back in donations. they are building businesses. they are employing oklahomans,
you gotta switch on historical and beloved fictional characters for different race. all of that is a chemical which should be the sure signs the underlining product is not really any good. that's first and foremost. secondly, yes, again this obsession with representation. you have to have a different race to be out front. to give a voice to the voiceless. that was destined to always run to these troubles. at some point it will be your culture the people are trampling on. it will be the people representing your ethnicity. where your nationality and where you're from. and you're going to be upset at some point. it's not just gonna go one way with erasure and it's okay if we do it but you can't do it to us. no, you're gonna upset somebody and that's were prevented up. >> what's so interesting to me is how long can people subsist on the diet of symbolic victories? if i take vote for men and improve your life. good essay on the fixer roads, pick your trash up on time. were gonna give you netflix documentary or cleopatra looks like you were hoping that's

bring in steve again was of some controversy because it was believed, and we saw the three members also standing there, or sitting in the legislature watching themselves on video, it was believed it could prejudice the vote, steve, but you would think that if you are going to vote on expulsion, you would want to see the evidence again. >> i think there's real concerns, especially among the democrats about showing this video. it shows the fact that they basically have taken over operations in that house for about 45 minutes, and later a scuffle between two lawmakers. so really the debate is this the voiceless trying to get a voice about gun control or is this simply mayhem, people breaking the rules and taking over, this is not a street protest here, this is in, on the floor of the statehouse. so you have the two different arguments. the republicans clearly wanting this video out there, wanting to see what they were up against.
