Nature Metabolism, from PREDICT, the largest ongoing nutritional research program in the world that looks at responses to food in real life settings, the research team from King s College London and health science company ZOE (including scientists from Harvard Medical School, Harvard T.H. The information comes from a new dietary trends study, which also reveals persistent or worsening disparities in meal quality from restaurants, grocery stores, and other sources-but not school-by race, ethnicity, and income.
Published today in JAMA Network Open and led by researchers at the Gerald J. and Dorothy R. Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University, the study analyzed all meals (including snacks and beverages) consumed by Americans over 16 years. The makers of UK-based healthy snack brand Eat Real is planning to launch into China later this year, its second attempt at cracking the highly lucrative market.
Eat Real first entered China around two years ago, and retracted in 2020 after finding it difficult to break the market.
It was working with three different distributors, and sold its healthy snacks on online channels such as Tmall.
However, under the different distributors, the products had different Chinese names, which drove a price war, and was confusing for consumers. ....
