North Korean leaders Kim Il-sung, Kim Jong-il and Kim Jong-un have been known to opt for high-security private trains as a preferred mode of transportation, both domestically and for international travel. Kim Jong-un has embarked on journeys across Asia aboard the fortified train, which last year was reportedly spotted in the port city of Wonsan.
A Google Maps user is reported to have spotted an airfield and likely stopping point for the mysterious armoured train used by North Korea’s leader Kim Jon-un, reported the

When It Comes to Nukes, Is It the North Koreans Who Are Irrational—Or Us?

It may seem early to start critiquing the Biden administration’s approach to the incessant problem posed by North Korea. But it hasn’t been too early for Biden to make his presidential rite of passage in another part of the world—
bombing Syria—and according to Jeffrey Lewis, an arms control specialist and professor at The Middlebury Institute of International Studies, Biden’s people have already made a significant misstep in their dealings with Kim Jong-un and his hermit kingdom. It’s never too early to start keeping an eye on who’s got nukes and how they intend to use ‘em. In fact, Lewis says, every administration gravely overestimates how much time they have to ramp up and implement a strategy, and that can cost you dearly.

How the Cancel Culture Stifles Creativity

We saw it during the Super Bowl on Sunday, as many of the commercials fell flat. We saw it with the cancelling of the Washington Redskins name, only to replace it with the Washington Football Team. And now we’re seeing it with the replacing of the Aunt Jemima brand with – get ready – the Pearl Milling Company. (You heard that correctly.) The cancel culture is stifling creativity.
As for the Super Bowl, the
New York Postcited Bill Oberlander, co-founder and executive creative of ad agency Oberland on January 24. He said, “There is trepidation around Super Bowl advertising this year. For the Super Bowl, you generally go big or go home. I think brands are going home rather than spending tens of millions of dollars and not getting it right. They’re saying, ‘Let’s wait until this s—storm clears.’”
