MacArthur Drive in Cottage Hills. Several fire departments, including an aerial tower truck from Wood River, assisted Cottage Hills at the Sunday afternoon blaze fed by vinyl PVC fencing. At times thick smoke forced the closure of traffic in both directions on Illinois 140. Firefighters were able to save a rental house a few feet from the building. Liberty Fence does not own the land the warehouse was located on but did own most of the contents.
