Domestic strife dampens US foreign policy

After four tumultuous years, the United States has officially ushered in a new administration, headed by President Joseph R. Biden. But although the shoes under the desk of the Oval Office are new, the tasks in the in-tray remain the same â and it is yet to be determined just how high up the priority list foreign policy will be.

Last Wednesday many Americans breathed a sigh of relief as Joe Biden was sworn in as the 46th US President without any further incident from those who believe the election was âstolenâ from former President Donald Trump.
