we begin tonight with a fox news alert election night. 2023 is well underway. polls are now closed in several key states where close races could servl kee as maybe a small preview of coming attractions for the 2024 election. in a moment, we'll take wil on the ground in virginia where governor glenn young guns, gop turnout strategy is now the being put to the test. will state republicans be ableon to flip the senate and hold on to the house? well, a heavy lift for sure, but we'll bring you the very latest resultst will b straightd tonight. plus, we'll check with kentucky, where the race cabeen called for. the incumbent democrat, andy beshearll the inc. we're also tracking another governor's race, thi are alss or mississippi, an abortion referendum in ohio and, a state supreme court race in pennsylvania. also tonightt race i, coming upp house judiciary committee chairman jim jordan. he will join. we have a lot of breaking news with details from. today's closed door hearing with hunter biden's doj guardingm today' turned speciall david weiss and the former primm prime minister of israel will be here as well. the l have the versraelll be he the war in gaza and the buutality that is the terrorist hamas. but first, joining us now with the very latest out of fredericksburg, virginia, our very own rich edsoericksbunh us. rich. all eyes on the commonwealth of virginia. what's going on ther.l eyes ae?r good evening, sean.te and it is a real test for governor glenn youngkin turnout strategy and the republican agenda here to see ift strate they control both houses of the legislature to push that agenda through the state government. what you've got here is governor glenn youngkin. hash visited fredericksburg, this district of virginia, 27, a numbersedericks of different s over the past several weeks. he was here campaigning yesterday. it was one of his six stopsx st that he made to polling locations todaopy, six total locations for the governor, about 156 miles. go you talk to his his team there, on top of all that,, you've got the governor down in richmonyod watching right noy and has really been campaigning on the economy. republican bs have also beens he campaigning on on a number of different aing on a issues lc safety and on education. democrats have hit abortion and they've also had gun control on abortiomocrats n the 15 week plan that republicans have to tryo try to to to curb aborts after 15 weeks. that's something that they haveh really, really focused on in this state. it's what they've brought a lot of outside helis.p do, a lotid of outside money to do. >> former president barack obama has recorded a robocall in this state. >> president biden, kamala harris, the vice president, have made endorsements in this race. race so a really, really national a re are indeedl on virginia. as the returns begin coming in here, polls close returns aba couple of hours ago sean. >> all right, rich, by the waya, ,governor youngkin plan, i like the idea of voting early voting by which republicans and conservatives have been reluctant resistant to do.n certainly a shifting paradigmtho think for the long term is going to be a good plan. i basically given up on virginia as ever, turning red again until governor youngkin came on the scene. but certainl ain untiy put himself out there. but still a very heavy lift, th when you get intoorthern northern virginia, where a lot of the d.c. swamp ha s movedto esp into, especially in the last 15 years or so. ec right.t? yeah. i mean, this is still a statehi that president biden won in 2020 by more than ten percentage points. it was a yean won r later that governor youngkin won by aboutgkin two percentage poi. but this is by no meanse a solidly red state or the solidly red state that it once was. stsblicanou know, republican really had the challenge here. education was an enormous os ise for glenn youngkin when he ran initiall hy back in 2021. republicans have made that an issue in the first two years of his of his term herst twoe. they have broadened that out really to deal with public safety. and, of course, the abortion issu ic e top of that.t that i but that is why this statey this is so important. r. forward to what we're looking at next year. and i talked to governor youngkin about this earlier today. i said are the issues that are important in this stat e std what is at stake in this election going to set the table for the national election that's going to start next year andaling to s really has ay started. >> and he says it absolutely will. olutely i think there's no doubt that this will have an impact regardless of how tonighis t might turn out in thet commonwealth. richardson thank you. inand some breaking news. ohio voters, they have passed a constitutional amendmenta protecting access to abortion, extending statewidtitutione winr abortion rights. we'll give you more details will gion that as. our breaking election night coverage continues. let's check in with the hostion special report, our friend brad. brad, i don't know this usedbr this u to be the hammer big board. i'm not sure bill hemmer is going to like this. . >> no, just sitting in. just sitting here. all right. ayou're allowed to sit in it. e yeah, you're allowed. this used to be the hannity big board way back in the day. >> but brad, the big board tonight. listen, we got a coupleo. of races. we just, you know, the call in kentucky to call in ohio would just bounce around here. the two governors races, kentucky and mississippi. in mississippi, the incumbent, tate reevessissipps, leading, bt single digits coming in so far. this is deep, deep republican territory, though. and his democratic challenger, democratpresley, state utility regulator, cousin of the elvis presley. if he managed to pull off a win here, you know, deep red would be all shook up. >> all right. so if you've got a check now here in kentucky, because andy beshearchec wins this racei called over daniel camerons , he really outperformed 2019 back in 2019. you may remember, he ran againsy 9.t matt bevin, only won by 5000 votes here. he outperformed in coal country. beshear did the incumbent democrated and c and, daniel ca, underperformed where bevin wasns in some of those places, in some of those counties that he was supposed to do better in five statewide referendums. you talked about virginia? ly it now, this is really interestingr because we don't have all of the data yet because these are individual races in controlof of the house. in the senate, governor glenn youngkin wants to take overconto control of all of the chambersl in virginia, in the house there's a slight republican lead, 4846. they're trying to hold on toreeh in the state senate. they're trying to pick up seatir against the democrats some early numbers and some demohese racesatme i are looking good for democrats in state district 31, for example. russ perry is ahead. that's dis a really close race, one we're watching. you can't call this yet, but it's looking good on the state senate side for the democratgood os at this poi. obviously, glenn youngkin has a lot of different legislative things. he wantslot of legisla to do wih house and senate. if he gets that in the commonwealthnd gets th. abo the other one we're talking about is what was just called in ohie thato are actually two referendums there. one is to legalize marijuana. one r one is you just called a yes vote on the state issue. one that is individual reproductive rights, abortion rightse th, the state constitut. what this does with this win ye the yes. one, it does bring up whethert s this the abortion issue is as strong as it was in 2022 and what it portends for 2024 in a lot of these states, democrats going to look at this and this win and say we need to put on other ballots for 2024 to effect the turnout, obviously, in the upcoming election. so that's what we have so far. waiting on mississippi numberss. ,waiting on virginia numbers. but a couple of big calls in kentucky, in ohio. all right. we'll check in all throughout the night. k you. appreciate it. and regardless of what happens tonight, republicansiated. and democrats now agree joe biden, he's in deep troubl e n . an nbc news poll put it this way. there is a five alarm fire among democrats as. joe biden's support is now bottomed out. in fact, if the presidentialntil election were held tonight, joe would lose in an electoral thatslideld tonie. now, that's according to the brand new new york times poll. another poll, this one fromuter reuters, shows a biden is nears his lowestsh approval ever at only 36%. a sitting president, frankly, anl just can't win reelection with those kind of numbersy ju . now, voters also strongly disapprove of biden's handling of the economy. so much for the biden nomics econg. ey've been pushin but you have real inflation, real difficulties at thee highes highest mortgage rates we've had in decades. wegage rat don't have secure bot national security concerns around the globe hav. american soldiers now have been attacked 40 times in justus the past few days at bases in the middle east with almost no response from joe bideneost at allno, barely any comments.n. meanwhile, his own party is now deeply divided. the issue of israel as biden's radical pro-hamass thre is threatening to stay home in 2024. and lastat but not least, americans are very concerned with biden's obvious, decline.. it appears to be getting worse, which will only seem to continue as we march toward 2024. and one year from now, as kamala would say, that's the significance of the passage of time. and according to a growing democrat number of democrats, are now begging biden to now bow out of the racdee including formerfh democratic congressman and senate candidatee ryan.timn but joe biden is clinginglingin on for dear life as always, biden values his own personal vanity above all else. fortun and unfortunately for joe and his fellow democrats, he iatansw so unpopular and incompetent that even his own weaponized justice department won't be able to push him across ment wone this time.l have we're going to have more on this failed political strategy tr thito get donald trump. that's coming up. but first, here with reaction to all of tonight'um h reactis top, we have fox news contributor charlie hurt and the co-host of outnumbered kayleigh mcenany. kayla, i'm not sure what we could read into this.d into kentucky may be a surprisethis to somebody to some people because they thought that was might have been a competitive race. however, on the issuetitive e or the current democratic governon is at great odds with his own party, isn'tod he?is. he is. and he ran away from joe biden. and why would you nohet i mean, you just went through the polling and it's a game of how low can you go foan howr? but one thing i would note, thin you know, kentucky is a red statg i e. ohio's a red state. mississippi, we don't know this evening.en we hope that reeves pulls itthat off. but it is a red stat re tonight. the midterm elections, the last few elections, we mustus recognize that as a party. good polling does not always p translate into resounding victory. it musolt operationalized with a mail and vote strategy, with a voting early , with a get out the vote strategy to put . thowind those very poor numbers for biden and very good numbers fose r trump. one other point i would just make, because on the issue of abortioone othen, ohio tonige continue the losing streak ynd the pro-life movement ever ballot initiative has been lost post jobs for the pro-life. as r as a party, sean, we must we must not just be a pro baby party. that's a great thing. a prwe must be a pro mother par >> we needpa a nationartl strato . i talked to mike johnson about this will air that tomorrow on outnumbered. there's legislaturnde and we mut put forward as a party to support women. and it's outd . s laid senator rubio's laid it out. but we've got to get trump behind i it t. the sp the speaker of the house behind it and have a national strategey to help vulnerable women because the results of next year's electiorable n could be determined by that. >> if we're really going to be honestsrmined b about this and i consider myself pro-life, but i understand that's not wheree the country is. i would say first trimester or . >> dobbs 15 weeks seems to be where the country is. kayleigh, i want to stay with you on this issue. the e issues will be decided by the states. you asked you talk to the speake r, the house. >> i talked to the speaker of the house. it is not going to be an issue e in the house of representatives. this is not going to be decided any longer in washington, d.c. the states will decide. so if states say that, okay, th 15 weeks15 is is the legal time period where women can have an abortionwo, then the other side of the issue thereth are manyocs democrats that want no restrictions on abortion at all wanto restri, that there should be a decision only between a woman and a doctor.that a i don't think that argument has been made enough by republicans. thoughtsrgt ? no, no. the language in ohio tonight, sean, this is what happens. it is so the language the aclu will roll in and this until is abortion until birth. we're talking about this is minors getting abortion withou b w t parental consent.ut we must, as a party number one, expose the extremity of the left. number twoextrem, pass legislatn tomorrow. i want the house of representatives passing legislation for men to pay women child support from the momentr of. legislation to make the child conc to the unborn. legislation to have women have access to the supplemental food and nutrition program. cess to mental fup to two yearsr childbirth. >> these are things that can year.y that will make a difference. but until we own this issue as a party, we will lose again a and again and again. >>nd you know, charlie, let'sle' get your thoughts on this. do you agreeur with me that probably the national consensus on abortion is about 12 to 15 weeks, first trimester, 15 weeks? >> i think. rsno, i think you're exactly are right about it. and obviously, kelly is exactly right about this exa yleigh. is is you know, and this is what happens when you gwh wo foru go 50 years, an unelected group of supreme court justices takeue this vitally important issue out of voter cs hands and make the, you know, rule by fiat in washington. and then and then when we, you knowshington, get it turned to return to the states and return to voters. d toit's a difficult issue and we're working through it. .this is the third election. it's going to be difficult and it's going to be awkward. er and we're everybody's kind of got to try to find their voice on it. democratryfind it's demagogued the issue to the you know very well that's choice. but democrats are trying to scare women int>>o, thinking republicans don't want abortion don's. stanceny circumstance and i go bacs.k to pennsylvania 2022, the republican candidate for governor, if i rememberexce correctly, no exceptions for, of the mother'sptio life and lt to a non-incumbent gubernatorial candidate, democratic candidate, by acandid margin that was noatt seen sinch the 1940s. so i have to believe that is an indication that the women am america moms want it probably legal and rare, probably earlier than, you know, at the point of viability. and absolutely and but i thinkhe what kelly said is so important and that is that, you know, the republican positionblican on abortion is share pd by like 80% of the population. the democratpopula position, whs is abortion up to the point up of birth. and in the case in virginia, you're talking like abortion u pu after birth, where you put o the baby on a table and keep the baby comfortable whilecomfor people make decisions. i mean, it's crazytawhile pe. >> it's nuts. that's the democratic position then, governor northamocratic s them that said that, right? >> and this is and that stuff is so wacko, crazy. and republicans have i to learns as kelly said, have to learn how to talk about thiskaylei and explain how wacko extreme democrats are on this issue and that. and while, you know, you know, strictly pro-life people areingo not going to be happy with the end result of what you get. they'll be happy to take to start with the 15 weeks. they'll be happy to to bring some sort of reasonable sanity to this, because when democrats get their way, it is for is nine months and possibly beyond. by the way, this just breaking the house of representatives will vote again on the issue of censure for congresswoman tno leave. we're not sure exactly when itwa may be in this hour. stay s with us. f we'll cover that for you. i want to go to the commonwealth of virginia. >> there's something that governor glenn youngkin, regardless of what ere is the are tonight. >> before glenn youngkin won that race, you know, two years ago, i thought i thoughtia was g virginia was gone. i never thought it was even on the map for republicans. i didn't think it woulddidn be worth investing a penny't in in virginia. >> but he proved to a lot of us wrong. and he certainly put put a couple of things on the map oh here. regardless of what the outcome is going to end up being. and thatat the t is that republ. and their reluctance and resistance. thatkelly, to voting early votig by mail has to stop. the part of this and i know that the rnc has adopted bankk your vote smart a smart strategy. e.the second part of it hass to be, as democrats have mastered in states that havees what's called legal ballot harvesting. they have mastered that have sty republicans aren't even in the legal ballot harvestin havg gam, and i have not seen any effort. gavement at all to get in that game. and i think they're making a huge mistake if they don'tme , whatever the results are tonight. glenn youngkin was on the right glk in terms of republicans trying to stop the bleeding going into election day, downda hundreds of thousands of votes. but i alsoy down think in those states where they have legal ballot harvesting, that's got to be adoptewhere th d, the republicans,d and they must equal the efforts of the democrats or surpass themby theey mus. >> no doubt about it. i mean, he is spot on.hes sp glenn youngkin to saoty s vote early. we must vote early. we must embracavte.e these laws, shun 50 days of early voting. in pennsylvania, 50 days when welva don't vote early. as a party.shu what we all show up on election wiy and then rain happenedp , happens with your kids. whatever happens in life, people don't show up. there are emergencie kids. you've got to vote early. but one thing ronna mcdaniel actually pointed out to me becaus.e, i do believe she's on top of this nevada. okay. look at nevadato look a. >> they have codified, sean into law that every registered voter. you know what happens on those voter rolls? dead people are on the voter, y rolls. people they're not claimed early and often everyone getthel ballot. everyone gets a ballot. even people who aren't with us any longer. we as a party have to votewe because 1111 points. donald trump is up in nevada. that doesn't mattenald trur unte vote and have an early vote strategy and play the same game and hav vot as democrats. >> yeah, i agree with that, charlie. anything els.e that you think ah that we can glean from tonight, regardlessinn from t of whethert republicans win the house of delegates in the senate a? n virgi repub do you think that now virginiain is back to at leasou thinkt pur? >> i mean, i think that virginia is going to be a f a very difficult state for republicans going forward just encausfi forard juste largely bt you were pointing out earlier about the encroachmentcr of the swamp into more of virginia. p intobut you know, the bright t of this is that glenn youngkin won virginiapot of by drilling, taking an issue that was historically democraint. down drilling down into iintud and exposing the fraud that that democra
