Now. Im Megan Mcgrath live in alexandria where you can see behind me the search continues for a 16yearold who went out fishing with friends on Little Hunting Creek. He went into the water to swim to the other side of the creek but he never made it back to shore. It is a beautiful spot where Little Hunting Creek meets potomac river, popular with anglers. This morning, there are police boats instead of fishermen, for the search of a missing 16yearold continues. The coast guard brought in their search and rescue chopper, boats equipped with sonar are searching the water. Shortly after 8 00 last night when a teenager went into the water trying to cross from one side of the creek to the other. He got about halfway before he began to struggle by the channel marker where the water gets deep. The current was going out ....

At least five states are under some type of warning or watch through sunday. Oklahoma and kansas are expected to get hit the hardest. Forecasters say they could get more than an inch of ice. You can see the obvious signs of the fire that raced through this house early this morning. Take a look. A neighbor called 911 alerted by the smoke and flames. Firefighters arrived at the 700 block of maryland avenue northeast at about 5 00 in the morning. They found the flames had already begun to consume the capitol hill rowhouse from within. Found a rowhome with fire in the basement and first and second floor and through the roof. Reporter there was three people in the house.
