По словам истца, руководство казино выполняло эти просьбы и несколько раз просто уводило девушку и ее коллегу Фиону Эсоко из зала после требований высокопоставленных клиентов.
Семхар Тесфагиоргис также заявила о случае в 2019 году, когда ее и другого дилера заменили на белых девушек по требованию клиента. В ответ на обращение африканки к директору казино Майклу Брэнсону он заявил, что просьба клиента о «белокожих дилерах», возможно, была его суеверием.
Кроме этих случаев Семхар Тесфагиоргис рассказала о том, что ей часто отказывали в просьбах взять выходные для ухода за детьми.
Представители казино рассказали, что их клиенты отрицают случаи дискриминации, а дилеров меняли потому что клиенты предпочитали персонал, который с ними не взаимодействует.

Москва, 18 июля. Планируется внедрить новый способ тестирования на наличие в крови алкоголя. Инспекторы при проверке смогут в течение нескольких секунд определить степень опьянения водителя.
Прежде чем попросить подозрительного водителя дунуть в алкотестер или проехать на медосвидетельствование, сотрудники ГИБДД обязаны проанализировать внешний вид и поведение. В числе признаков опьянения: запах алкоголя изо рта, неустойчивость позы, нарушение речи, покраснения на лице и «не соответствующее обстановке поведение». Кроме этого они внимательно смотрят на реакцию: как ведет себя водитель, нервничает он или спокоен, если прямо поставить вопрос об опьянении.
В рамках реализации федерального проекта «Безопасность дорожного движения» национального проекта «Безопасные качественные дороги» остается актуальным вопрос применения средств индикации паров алкоголя, так называемых «экспресс-тестов». Применение подобных средств минимизирует потерю времени при проведении медосвидетельствования и дальнейшую бумажную волокиту, передает RT.
