Covid-19 Vaccine:कोरोना वायरस वैक्सीनेशन प्रोग्राम (Corona Vaccination Drive) की शुरुआत के साथ ही भारत से दुनियाभर की उम्मीदें बढ़ गयी हैं। अगर यह टीकाकरण सफल होता है तो ना केवल देश बल्कि दुनियाभर के लोगों को कोविड-19 संक्रमण की वैश्विक महामारी से बचाना आसान हो जाएगा। भारत में 2 कोविड-19 वैक्सीन्स (Covid-19 Vaccine) के साथ टीकाकरण का कार्यक्रम आरंभ हुआ है। लेकिन, टीका लेने वाले लोगों पर यह वैक्सीन कितनी असरदार रहेगी यह सवाल भी अब उठने लगा है। (Covid-19 Vaccine)
कोविड-19 वैक्सीन के प्रभाव से जुड़ी एक महत्वपूर्ण बात यह भी है कि कोरोना वायरस का टीका लेने वाले व्यक्ति को एक ही दवाई की 2 खुराकें लेनी होंगी। एक्सपर्ट्स के अनुसार, 2 दवाइयों के 2 अलग-अलग डोज़ लेने से दवा की प्रभावशीलता का पता लगाना मुश्किल होगा। इसके अलावा, 2 डोज़ लेने के बीच अंतर रखना भी आवश्यक होता है।
कोरोना वैक्सीन की 2 खुराकों के बीच अंतर रखने से ही होगा असर !
गौरतलब है कि भारत में कोविड-19 वैक्सीनेशन के लिए जिन 2 वैक्सीन्स को चुना गया है उनमें, सीरम इंस्टिट्यूट्स ऑफ इंडिया की कोविशिल्ड (Covishield) और भारत बायोटेक की कोवैक्सीन (Covaxin) शामिल है। हाल ही में सीरम के सीईओ अदार पूनावाला (Adar Poonawala) ने मीडिया से बात करते हुए बताया कि इन वैक्सीन्स की 2 खुराकों के बीच 28 दिन का अंतर आवश्यक है। तभी इस दवा का प्रभाव सही तरीके से समझना संभव होगा। प्रभावशीलता का पता लगाने के लिए एक ही दवाई की दोनों खुराकें प्राप्त करना आवश्यक है। एक्सपर्ट्स के अनुसार 28 दिनों का गैप दवा का प्रभाव दिखाने के लिहाज से महत्वपूर्ण है।
कितने समय बाद लेना होगा टीके का दूसरा शॉट
एक्सपर्ट्स के मुताबिक, अगर, 2 डोज़ के बीच 4 सप्ताह का अंतर होता है तो यह 70-80 प्रतिशत तक सुरक्षा प्रदान कर सकती है। लेकिन, अगर दूसरी डोज़ कुछ और लम्बे अंतराल के बाद ली जाती है (जैसे-6-10 सप्ताह) तो परिणाम और बेहतर हो सकते हैं।
दरअसल, इस दावे के पीछे क्लिनिकल ट्रायल्स के परिणाम भी हैं। कोविशील्ड और कोवैक्सीन के तीसरे क्लिनिकल ट्रायल्स 28 दिनों के बाद किए गए थे। लेकिन, अगर दूसरी डोज़ जल्दी ली जाती है तो उसका असर 70 फीसदी तक दिखायी दे सकता है। एक्सपर्ट्स की माने तो कोविड-19 वैक्सीन के दूसरे डोज़ की बेहतर परफॉर्मेंस के लिए 6-8 हफ्तों का अंतर ज़रूर रखना चाहिए।
