show up, usually you don't have a bond. you have to wait overnight in the fulton county jail. you are given about the next day after your first appearance hearing. those are the cases, or that's what i used to preside over when i used to sit out here as a judge. then hopefully, you are granted a bond. if you are a defendant and then you are processed out. but it usually takes several hours if not a day or so to get a defendant processed out. >> mark meadows is one of trump's former chief of staff who surrendered. he was trying to push this. he has a hearing on monday, he's trying to get it move from state court, a federal court. and he was essentially arguing, i shouldn't have to meet that deadline from tomorrow. and they push back on that saying, fani willis argument when she responded saying i've already given you two weeks as a courtesy. that's the role of defended that we get. and that's accurate. so for those who have the
