One thing the pandemic has taught us is how essential and open spaces and parks have been to our physical and Mental Health and well being. We had design changes and wonderful advocacy of support and then there was that pandemic that got in the way for about a year. So to be here today is really wonderful. Challenges. 2020 brought even more challenges to Election Integrity laws because of 29 covid19. Then disputes over vote totals, machines, and calls not to certify. These occupy hours of news media. Many landed in the courts. Various protesters disputed certification efforts. Much more directly in the hall of congress back in january. Luckily, these more incendiary fights over our election processes have largely subsided. They have subsided just in time for us to begin the hotly contested process of redistricting. Every 10 years upon completion of the senses, the states we apportion their share of our representatives commence or to the states population and must redraw new districts to reflect their new number of Congress Persons while passing scrutiny against any constitutional challenges.
