investigation of members of the scorpion unit. i'm not gonna say it didn't happen, but i'm not aware of it. but i do know that now, i have heard that a number of citizens making complaints about the scorpion unit. i know that units of that kind sometimes can -- around the country can sometimes breed a culture of over aggressiveness. i think it's probably a healthy thing that the unit has been expanded. >> we're not just talking about the scorpion unit. we're talking about the specialized units across the country that do the opposite of what they are supposed to be doing. so i wonder if you're looking at this from across the country, i'm wondering what one of the lessons as. if you have to begin with a specialized units. >> well, i do think, felicia, that's a big part of the conversation. i also think it's important that we stop politicizing the notion of law enforcement protection and service and community. the reason i say that is because must of -- much of what we're talking about with the specialized units is the result of response to right-wing talking points
