very first time that release conditions for trump have included, first of all, a cash bond, and also a prohibition at the outset on intimidating codefendants or witnesses and victims, including through social media. i want to bring in cnn legal analyst norm eisen, and we're going to have -- what we learned about this bond agreement. you talk about this all the time about what to expect. first of all, that big number, 200 grand. is that fair, is that expected? >> laura, i do think it is fair and i think it is expected. in one sense, it is low because that is not number that is very meaningful to someone of donald trump's wealth. in folding county, georgia, the way they do these bond amounts is they set up by count and donald trump runs all through this complaint, this indictment that the fulton county d a fani willis has put forth. >> the more charges, the higher the bond? >> exactly.

regret the work he did for his former client but mum when asked if he would seek prosecutorial immunity and when asked if he was fingerprinted and had a mug shot. but his lawyer said it was the same as anyone when they turned themselves in, so we can assume there was mug shots and fingerprinting for eastman. >> thank you my friend, great job there. fantastic stuff. we want to go to a deadly shooting of a california clothing store owner allegedly over a pride flag. maggie vespa has the latest on that for us. what are authorities saying now? >> reporter: they're saying they're still investigating this as a hate crime. i say that despite the fact that 27-year-old travis ikaguchi is dead, he was killed an hour

used, a physical search, a medical check, some things. what do you think? >> well, certainly i think there is nothing unusual about this case. i think it is historically significant on a very, very high level. and while certainly fulton county and atlanta has seen its share of really high-profile defendants and cases, i think this one has made its way to the top of that stack. certainly through the secret service and the coordination with the fulton county sheriff's department, they will come up with a protocol that will safely ensure that the former president is able to get in and get out very smoothly without any issues with respect to his safety. i think the normal processes with inside the fulton county jail will take place. and so i would expect that fingerprinting and general booking will take place. and hopefully on the part of the

that to me increases the criminal exposure of donald trump for the stolen documents at mar-a-lago. >> you know, that brings us back to what is happening today behind you in georgia. obviously in the georgia indictment they're all in the same side, they're all indicted for their crime as part of a criminal enterprise to overturn the results there. there is no one and better favor than the other. i wonder if you can take us through what we believe -- i know john eastman didn't answer many questions from my colleague. i wonder if you could take us through what we believe happened with eastman today? >> reporter: well, the surrender process at the jail behind me, there's -- people get their mug shots taken, there's electronic fingerprinting, there's a medical test, and kind of standard procedures like that. fulton sheriff has made clear he intends to treat all 19 of these defendants the same as he has

i asked if he thought that others like mark meadows had the grounds to plead immunity from prosecution. we know that's something that meadows has tried to argue in the past. eastman similarly said no comment to me on that front. he wasn't in there very long, but he did say no comment in terms of when i asked if he was given a mugshot and fingerprinted. his attorney said this was pretty standard process, without getting too much in the details, we can assume now at this point that fingerprinting and a mugshot were part of the process when eastman surrendered today. >> ali vitali, i thank you so very much. up next, black voters are actually critical in the battleground state of wisconsin. republicans have been trying to bring them into the fold. we'll talk about that next. you're watching "jose diaz-balart reports" on msnbc. c. y blocks heartburn for a full 24 hours. for one and done heartburn relief, prilosec otc.

we have seen in the last few hours and we are starting to see an uptick in the number of cameras and photographers, and we have seen the last two of these folks turn themselves in, in the building behind me. the big name we are looking at today is john eastman, the man at the heart of the fake elector scheme, and he is somebody who has his bail set at $100,000. while we can't see folks physically go in and out, what we are able to do is refresh the system that shows who is actually in the midst of being processed in the building behind me. we know that both eastman's and hall's name are currently in the system. what will happen at this point is the process as it will typically unfold, a fingerprinting and mugshot and the processing going through. that could take several hours. that's why we are closely
