what do you make of -- francesca's got her money and eric. but broadly speaking, what do you make of this? >> i mean, is anybody surprised by any of this? not really. we kind of knew who the trumps were going into the 2016 election. this is sort of old hat now for this new version of, you, no maga republicanism. but nobody is really surprised that his kids are wrapped up in this. they are pitch will attention seekers, and if anything, this puts their names in the headlines a little longer. >> daniela, let me move on to what i think, in my opinion, the more significant criminal investigation that is unfolding in georgia as i mentioned, the washington post asked the fulton county da fani willis about the possibility of trump testifying and that probe.
considerable amount of time, you know that donald trump is a fraud. you know donald trump has used his businesses as tax shelters and as a way to avoid paying taxes. he said it himself when he was running for president. i'm smart. that's why i don't pay taxes. that's what he told the american people. so i believe that over the course of her investigation, she has found more than enough information that will bring him down. and his children, who have of once -- one time or another, and ceo or some kind of adviser for the trump organization. >> francesca, and trump faction, it begs the question. if trump believes that he did nothing wrong, why would he attempt to settle? >> absolutely. or why would he plead the fifth 400 times in this case? why would eric trump plead the fifth 500 times? this is what he said. the fifth amendment is for people who are guilty and mobsters. i think we got both on our

francesca, do you think democrats like new york city mayor eric adams -- our meeting the moment because they are people who are actually responsible? they are doing things, not participating in these political stones that we are seeing from abbott and desantis. >> yeah, and i think that is a really important first step, to differentiate yourself from these republican governors, to say we don't condone this type of cruelty. but the reality is, is a cruelty on the border -- it has been a bipartisan consensus. and democrats have been dragged to the right by republicans for their militarizing the border, giving them even more money. this is one of the largest federal agencies that is insanely militarized. it has crazy jurisdiction. and so, i am looking for vision from democrats on actually, not just human -- which is just the lowest bar. but truly, how can we be better
