Disney and Havas Media utilise Paragone's AI tech for social media marketing Details 09 March 2021 Disney and Havas Media will use Paragone.ai's new AI technology for their social media marketing efforts. Paragone.ai is an "AI-powered, multi-channel social advertising management platform" with an Actionable Performance Marketing (APM) system that enables marketers to enjoy real-time analytics and predictive analysis to determine ad allocation, automated instant recommendations on tactical adjustments to hit KPIs, and cross-platform ability to aggregated siloed data into a single, convenient dashboard. According to research from Statista, advertisers are expected to spend over US$56 billion on social media in 2022, a number that is only expected to grow in the years to come.

The trend follows a slow 2020, when many marketers cut budgets and paused agency searches. Coca-Cola, JetBlue, and Walmart are among the most valuable accounts up for grabs. Advertisers slashed their budgets during the pandemic while suspending the long and expensive process of changing ad agencies. But 2021 is expected to be an unusually active year for new business with billions in ad spending expected to change agency hands.
Mayuri Nikumbh Conran Design Group Mumbai, the branding and design agency from Havas Group, has announced the appointment of Mayuri Nikumbh as Head of Design. In her new role, Nikumbh will be responsible for creative stewardship for clients in the region and will lead the creative vision for Conran Design Group, Mumbai. Nikumbhâs appointment follows the recent development of Havas Group India announcing a strategic joint-venture with Conran Design Group; a Havas agency with over six decadesâ experience in building iconic brands. Havas boss confirms acquisitions on the horizon in Singapore and India Details 11 February 2021 As 2021 takes over in full swing, Havas is looking to make a notable acquisition in Singapore which will happen in the upcoming weeks. In a session organised by the French Chamber of Commerce, Yannick Bollore (pictured), CEO of Havas said Singapore is a key focus for the company to build upon. He said: “We have a great team in Singapore, and we will be closing an acquisition which will be announced in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, you have now been asked to report to the global CEO. Can you share more details of the recent changes and the strategy behind these developments?
When Campaign revealed on 8 January that Publicis Groupe had talked to a private equity investor about a possible sale or transaction, the share price briefly shot up more than 7% to a 15-month high of €46. Campaign reported the talks had taken place as recently as December 2020 and pointed to CVC, a major European private equity firm, as a potential suitor but made clear that no formal discussions or negotiations are under way. Publicis Groupe had declined to comment to Campaign ahead of publication of the story but went on the record afterwards, because of the share price reaction, to emphasise: “There are no talks of any sort going on.”
