extraordinary integrity who is ahead of that public integrity unit at the department of justice and is currently working as a head of the international court sees and is an experienced prosecutor and i think the attorney general made the right decision. >> congressman, walk us through the 14th amendment argument that trump should not be allowed to run for office in the first place. >> well our founders made explicit in the constitution under the 14th amendment section three that somebody who is engaged in insurrection or aiding and abetting and giving comfort to those who did is barred and disqualified from holding federal office. they go then to section five of the 14th amendment and specifically say that congress is authorized to enact legislation to enforce this provision. so it is very clear that our founders intended that congress would preclude and prevent anybody who inciting an insurrection against the united states from holding federal office admit that makes perfect sense of course that you would not want a president or anyone else in federal office who was
