when it comes to the latest information with this, we do know that tens of thousands of people have been evacuated from the island of maui, either to other destinations outside of hawaii or to some of the other islands in hawaii, where we have not seen these types of fires by any means. and there are efforts right now to shelter as many people as possible and also try and make sure that folks can get to a destination where they are safe and have resources. well, that's a question i was going to ask you, jared, about, i mean, bearing in mind these fires are still ongoing, what support is there able to be offered to the local community? and presumably there are a lot of tourists in the area at the moment as well. yeah, there were a lot of tourists who were there because this is tourist season. i mean, hawaii in its own right is just a location that a lot of people like to fly to because of the beauty there. so on one hand, you do have a number of shelters that have been set up on some of the islands that are close to maui. there have been buses taking people to either shelters or to airports to try and get them off.

a pretty regular basis. but it looks bad. and it seems to be contrary to what the president said in terms of he had no conversations with his son about his business whatsoever. my biggest question right now is does this resonate with anybody outside of the sphere we all operate in? >> i think to a certain extent it will resonate with some voters. but i do think this kind of -- we have no direct connection to biden in anything unethical at this point. so right now we're talking about hunter biden who isn't in the administration. it's not like the trump kids where they had these close business ties where he brought them into the administration. so i don't think it resonates in the same way what happened with jared or ivanka or the trump kids does. >> you know, it's more maybe more generic than personal. this is the kind of reason why people are so -- so many voters feel that washington is not looking out for their interest, self feeling. jared kushner getting $2 billion from the saudis. hunter biden trading on his father's name. this is what they see is
