the supreme court preview of the 2022 2023 term. [applause] good afternoon and welcome to the heritage foundation annual supreme court review. we are glad to have you with us whether you are in person or watching online or on television. my name is zach smith and i serve as a legal fellow and the manager of the supreme court appellate advocacy program here at the heritage foundation. the supreme court is set to begin hearing arguments in its new term next week. we thought this would be the perfect time to discuss some of those cases and preview what we can expect. while the courts last term contained a number of blockbuster decisions, the court this term will also tackle a number of important cases and issues. affirmative, redistricting, religious liberty, cases that touch on the courts ability to hear challenges to certain agency actions and structures. help us rake it down, i m joined by two advocates who need no introduction. paul has argued over 100 cases before ....
