what do you think the significance is of that? >> i'm really excited to see a wave of veterans and especially women veterans running on both sides of the aisle. i think part of it is because maybe there are traditionally barriers to women running, whether that's, you know, this hess tense to try to take on the good old boy's club. women's veterans have already worked for decades in male dominated fields. i never thought of myself as a female pilot, i was just a pilot. it's not easy to intimidate us. we've already kind of proven our mettle. >> speaking of mettles, to someone who was three tours of duty in afghanistan shot down while, you know, fighting the taliban. you're hardly a pushover. so politics should be easy for you. still, politics is tough for democrats in texas. especially women. >> i think there's a real hunger for, you know, the people -- i grew up in texas. the people in my district really want present leadership.
