值得一提的是，西安交通大学高考录取通知书以“西迁精神”为设计灵感，整体采用3折页内嵌形式，外层封套为录取纪念卡，封套内嵌入了录取通知书。纪念卡封面为红色；封二为金色，印有西安交大中心楼与梧桐树；封面与封二采用剪纸阴刻与阳刻技法，重叠后形成西迁列车与中心楼、梧桐树错落有致的布局，大气美观。
14时25分，西安交通大学物理学院院长高宏分别在图书《星际穿越》和《寻找薛定谔的猫》上，写下寄语“仰望星空 脚踏实地”“守得初心 方得始终”，以此鼓励西交大首位收到录取通知书的学子，在个人成长的过程中多阅读、勤研究，追求梦想、运用所学为国家作出力所能及的贡献。
14时30分，西安交通大学志愿者将陕西省首封高考录取通知书与两本图书一同交到快递员马雷、马乔睿手中。
15时25分，带着这份沉甸甸的祝福，两位快递员与考生沟通好投递时间与地点后，便驾驶着邮车赶赴位于索罗巷附近的小区。
这位被西安交通大学录取的“幸运儿”叫作闵政皓，是个身高1.7米的18岁帅小伙，毕业于西安市第三中学，高考取得了655分的好成绩，被西安交通大学强基计划物理学专业录取，也是该校在陕强基计划录取成绩第一名。
据西安交通大学招生办工作人员介绍，“强基计划”是全国重点高校在基础学科专业招收有志向、有兴趣、有天赋，综合素质优秀或基础学科拔尖，具有强烈的专业兴趣、科研志向和吃苦耐劳精神的优秀学子的专门计划。今年西安交大“强基计划”招收数学类、物理学类、核工程与核技术、生物技术、哲学、工程力学专业，全国共招生210名学生，六个专业均是“本-硕-博”衔接培养模式。
“祝贺你，这个是咱陕西第一封高考录取通知书，按照流程麻烦你出示身份证和准考证。”经过核验后，闵政皓迫不及待地接过西安邮政快递员送上的录取通知书和一束鲜花，在这充满仪式感的寄送现场，小伙子露出了灿烂的笑容。
“我比较喜欢物理专业，得知被录取后我非常开心，感谢爸妈在我一路成长中的付出，也感谢自己这些年的努力，没有辜负自己的青春。”闵政皓说，拿到全省第一封录取通知书非常荣幸，也很激动，感谢西安邮政工作者的暖心服务。高兴之余，闵政皓对未来也是充满期待，他表示，这个假期将在实践中积攒社会经验，未来大方向的规划还是在物理学领域深造，成为一名国家和社会需要的人才。
“看到学生的笑容，我们也替孩子高兴，祝福每位学子都能学有所成，大展宏图！”西安邮政快递员马雷告诉记者，西安邮政每年都会为第一个收到录取通知书的学子准备一束鲜花，鼓励孩子追求积极向上的人生。
