israeli military now says an additional nine soldiers have been killed inside gaza. they were hit by an atm while operating in the northern part of the strip. for the very latest, chief fox news correspondent jonathan hunt joins us live from jerusalem. jonathan, lauren, good morning from jerusalem. we just got this word from the israeli defense forces that nine soldiers were killed yesterday, today morning, as they were part of the ground operations in inside the gaza strip on the northern end of the strip. now, those soldiers were apparently hit by what is called an anti tank guided missile as they moved forward as part of the ongoing operations there in northern gaza. now, we should point out that these nine soldiers that we have now been told about who were killed are in addition to the two we have previously reported. so what we public we know is that 11 an idf soldiers have been killed inside gaza since the ground operation on got underway in earnest. and the anti-tank guided missile that hit them is just another example of the kind of dangers that those soldiers are going to face throughout this ground operation in however long it might take. and we have been repeatedly told by the israeli government that it will be a long and difficult war. anti-tank guided missiles just one of the weapons they're likely to face as they try to clear out. and in their words, eradicate hamas, part of that, the attacks on hamas included today, a huge airstrike in the area of jabalya. that is sort of contiguous on the northern end of gaza city. it has always been known as a refugee camp, although it is not by any means a tented refugee camp. it is a it is part of a suburb, if you like, of gaza city that has grown over the last 75 years. now, what the idf did was hit part of jabalya with airstrikes. they say that the buildings around those airstrikes collapsed, collapsed partly because underneath those buildings was part of that tunnel network that we have talked about so often. they say that they killed a critical a significant point. hamas commander in that strike, as well as dozens of other hamas fighters. but just back to the breaking news, lauren, that we're getting. as we sum up here, the idf now telling us that nine israeli soldiers were killed in an incident today, day morning here, hit by an anti-tank guided missile fired by hamas fighters. lauren?
