were you surprised that incitement and serve auction was reportedly not mentioned and the target letter that trump received from the special counsel? >> it's great to be with, you jonathan. i agree with my congressman schiff. it's true that we don't necessarily know what charges the special counsel or the ground jury are necessarily contemplating. of course, the only reason we know any of this is because the former president disclosed his receipt of a target letter which is clearly a legal development. we know from some specific charges that were referenced, it doesn't mean that the grand jury, about the special counsel, isn't looking at other charges. they may respect the statutes. i trust the special counsel, the department of justice, to faithfully execute their duties. they have eight departments -- i think that the special counsel has thus far pursued his duties and that way. i think it's important for us to be a free political

this is essentially a set of charges revolving around his efforts to stop the peaceful transfer of power. for the first time in our history, it's hard to imagine a president been involved in more serious misconduct. the most serious thing he's faced yet. you know, these are not so thinly veiled threats to violence or just with donald trump does when, you know, the law catches up with. tim he has done this repeatedly. we have seen january six and that incitement can lead to real violence. we have to hope that the american people will allow the court system to run its course. he will be presumed innocent. the prosecution will have the burden of proof. that's the way it should be. with any other defendant, that's the way it will be with him. we have to let the court system play out, and never resort to using violence as a way of resolving differences. >> congressman schiff, how did these reporting processes come as part of what you learn as

trump's impeachment. what do you make of that prospect? especially as the lead impeachment manager for his first impeachment. >> there is no constitutional provision, or constitutional mechanism to do such a thing. it is a farce. it doesn't mean they won't do it. mccarthy and the public leadership -- there is no floor below which they will not saying to debase themselves for donald trump. we could very well have a vote on it. it will be a meaningless saw up to their most flawed, unethical leader. you know, democrats will probably not have any problem with that. >> congressman adam schiff of california. thank, you as always, for coming to the sunday show. >> thank you. >> next, what we can expect from georgia as we unlock big news from the district attorney fani willis in her investigation into election interference. congressman joe neguse, and charles coleman junior, join me
