our southern border. lawrence: we had a rancher on yesterday. the governor's orders with lone star to help these texas landowners that have migrants illegally on the property. looking through their windows. they have seen dead bodies. talk about that project to get those folks in custody? >> so one thing that governor abbott has done. he has recognized the issue on the southern border. that is leadership right there. he has visited the border numerous times not only the rio grande valley but del rio. visited with law enforcement and officials to see what the concerns are and come up with solutions. because of that he launched operation lone star a state initiative deploying over 1,000 dps personnel to the southern border to combat these issues. in addition to that, he constructed a temporary border fencing here in del rio which allows dps personnel to arrest illegal immigrants to arrest them for criminal trespass and put them in jail. we are not doing catch and release. we are doing catch and jail. that's the from governor abbott. lawrence: when you hear the
