Intersociety Urges UN, Amnesty International To Investigate Rampant Killings In South-East Nigeria

Civic group, the International Society for Civil Liberties and Rule of Law, Intersociety, has again decried the mass murders, civilian house burnings and other internationally prohibited acts which are being perpetrated with impunity and recklessness killings in the South-East. The group asserted that till date, not an armed state actor or armed non-state actor perpetrator; or a public official or office holder aiding the killings has been brought to accountability, including that they ought to be investigated, tried, convicted and jailed.
