vaccinated people should start wearing masks particularly in areas where there is a lot of virus spreading throughout the community. it talks about people who are vaccinated can transmit the virus in some instances as those who are unvaccinated if they become infected. it also talks about some of the challenges that the cdc faces. there is a concern as there is a breakthrough in more cases, but there is a concern that stories like that will shake the public's confidence in the vaccine. that people think it is ineffective if they have not gotten vaccinated yet, or those vaccinated will think they need a booster shot. and so a lot of concern about the messaging around the vaccine's effectiveness as well as trying to convince those that are unvaccinated that they still need to get the shot and more

you've seen what's happened down on the u.s.-mexico border? >> to be fair, david, we have been supporting the legal system about immigration and supporting the immigrant rights community for years. what we saw here was a cruel attempt by the president and the administration to use the immigration system to punish asylum seekers, their families, and their children. and we really saw kind of an escalation of the attacks on immigrants, the attacks on asylum seekers, that has been part of this administration even before they were elected, it was part of their campaign. >> i'm going to read these two astonishing tweets from the president once again. i know you are not a lawyer but i want your reaction to what the president asserts in them about due process. quote, we cannot allow all these people to invade our country. when somebody comes in, we must immediately, with no judges or court cases, bring them back from where they came. our system is a mockery to good immigration policy and law and order. most children come without
and i'm happy to hear people on this panel say this, we should not give the president a pass on this because this is one of the most outrageous and one of the saddest parts of his presency. >> how do you address the question of political accountability for a community that of course doesn't actually have the vote? how do you hold the administration accountable for the efforts, which are creating such fear in communities? >> i think something that's been really amazing is that undocumented youth have stepped out of the shadows and conducted actions, even just yesterday. so it's so critical for us to hold elected officials accountable because we were so focused on the communities trump was making while not holding this administration accountable that allows these mass raids to happen. >> will the immigrant rights community, like the black lives matter community, eject into this conversation for the democratic primary?
against black friday. we just want to add small business saturday to the occasion. that's because the local small businesses are creating a very special vibe in our community. small is now a big deal across the country. even large corporations are positioning themselves as small so it is exciting to be a part of this revolution and this excitement, remembering that 68 cents of every dollar spent in a local store stays in that location community creating local jobs and a local vibrancy that attracts so many people to a community and builds value in the localities and in the neighborhood. >> also, it really does -- small businesses play a huge impact on our economy. >> today we know that we're in the 68th month of consecutive job growth and the majority, two-thirds of that job growth, is coming from small businesses. so this is the time to honor all those small businesses started by vets. 1 in 10 is started by a veteran. today women are starting businesses at a rapid clip. 25% of small businesses are now owned and managed by women.
