Mollie A. Teilhet

WATAUGA - Mollie A. Teilhet, age 72, of Watauga, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 from her residence. Mollie was born in Elizabethton to the late William J. and Cleo Mottern Watkins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, William J. Watkins, Jr.
Mollie was a strong, independent woman with a wonderful spirit of adventure and joy, who loved her children and grandchildren fiercely. Motherhood was her priority and always ensured their care. Mollie had been an agent for the Internal Revenue Service for 3 ½ years and for 1 ½ years she was a tax auditor for the Tennessee Department of Revenue Sales Tax Division and was the first female Certified Public Accountant in Elizabethton to have her own business. Her clients were her top priority and that was apparent in her success, having operated her business for 30 successful years. She was a member of the American Institute and the Tennessee Society of CPAs and graduated cum Laude in 1970 from East Tennessee State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting. In addition to her distinguished career, she had also served as an account- auditor for two years with the U.S. General Accounting Office in Washington, D.C. In her leisure time Mollie enjoyed traveling and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

you can see the stenographer walk up to the podium and began talking. she spent about 20 seconds on the floor before she had to be dragged out by the sergeant at arms. she said, according to a gop aide, do not be deceived, god shall not be mocked, a house divided cannot stand. again, she spent about 20 seconds on the floor before they dragged her off. she was holding tight to the podium and took her out into the hallway. we have an audio recording of what she said off the floor. let's listen to that. >> the constitution -- praise be to god, lord jesus christ. >> mollie.

we are america. we respond. we endure. we overcome and we own the finish line! >> boston strong. that does it for us. thank you for watching. our coverage continues next with cnn international. welcome to our viewers in the united states and around the world. i have this hour on "cnn newsroom" a dramatic rescue on the coast of south korea. a ship packed with hundreds of students unexpectedly sings. >> plus one day after its first mission was cut short, searching the ocean floor for flight 370 is sent back under water. >> we're on "cnn newsroom" -- >> you are in yourself for the sole purpose of shooting her. >> not true, mollie.

>> rand paul sort of i think spent the past decade watching his dad run for president, and thought to himself, i can do that better. so i think you've seen him moderate because he understands rightly that ron paul's views were completely unpalatable. so he's starting from that you know far right or left i don't even know what to call it place of ron paul and moderating toward the center. the trick is going to be to take the ron paul supporters the young folks who liked ron paul's libertarianism and also make his again governing philosophy which is different from his libertarian philosophy work for the center. that's going to be a tough thing to pull off. i know you're confident he can, but i think he's going to have a tough time with that. >> we have to leave it there. mollie, appreciate you being here. s.e. thank you so much. our national lead now. a widespread power outage across washington, d.c., affecting not

depending on the situation. he may not see the need of getting involved in every random country's conflict. but when there's a threat that vofrls america or america's people, he's hard core about the need to go to war. but it comes off differently because so many people in d.c. and so many people who are engaged in foreign policy discussions are at one extreme or another. he's at a middle ground but i think it's much more palatable to average american voters. >> i just want to run, there is this republican group that came out with an ad attacking paul for his position. i don't know if the control room if we have it. there it is. >> negotiations with iran. but he doesn't understand the threat. >> you know, it's ridiculous totyto think they're a threat to our national security. >> rand paul is wrong and dangerous dangerous. >> this is a very forceful out of the gate attack on rand paul from some of the foreign policy establishment. mollie, i had dick cheney on the show.

bret? >> bret: mollie, thank you. up next, pro-government demonstrators take to the streets in hong kong to counter months of protests from the other side. we will take you there. first, here is what some of our fox affiliates around the country are covering tonight. fox 19 in cincinnati says a 20-year-old ohio woman cleared of killing her newborn baby is sentenced to three years probation after being found guilty of abuse of a corpse a seven day jail sentence was commuted for time served. brook skyler richardson found not guilty of more serious charges including aggravated murder. fox 5 in new york with the death of singer and song writer eddie michael cohen h hey two tickets to paradise and take me home tonight. eddie money was 70. here is a live look from san francisco fox 2. the golden gate bridge. big story tonight. pacific gas and electric says it has reached 111-million-dollar settlement cover most of the claims from wildfires in

are inching closer to trial. neil? >> neil: in the case of lori loughlin, right? your reports it could be years, decades that she is in jail for that. what are they basing that on, mollie? >> well, they are basing it on the maximum sentence for the potential charges. so that conspiracy to commit money laundering charge. the conspiracy to commit mail fraud services mail fraud. those are 20 years each max. those are not what we have seen those so far sentenced getting. now you are seeing some of these prosecutors get a sentence make a deal inching closer to trial with various other charges. and they have their own time potentially tacked on as well. specifically that count that the nine parents related to usc are facing that has an additional potential up to five years. so when you add it all up, it could potentially mean a lot of prison time. thus far the judge in the case has not sentenced anyone to many many years in prison. but it is worth noting that these other defendants that are moving forward are going before a different judge. and judges have a lot of
