about that, but there is a legal process that is decidedly not political and this is the process with the safeguards that couple of the members of the court have already referred to. we are talking about prosecutors who are, you know, follow strict codes and are presumed to act with regularity, grand jurors and petit jury and the supreme court above it, and i want to talk about the floodgate and since watergate has there been societal widespread recognition including executives and president, that the president is subject to criminal prosecution, and nixon was about private conduct, but about using cia to interfere with an fbi investigation and then accepts a pardon understanding that after having resigned, and again, that is undermining this impeachment

grand jury -- and then ai judge is going to here the case thereafter and sort of wash away some of the stink of politics. and again, more to the point, jim, in order to convict somebody of a crime you then have to get it past a regular jury, what's called a petit jury of just ordinary citizens. there are many checks along the way. i recognize that politicians are going to make arguments that the whole process is tainted. but there are many, many checks built in to ensure that politics does not infect charging decisions. >> and we've seen the public comments of some of those who've been called before this grand jury as well. elliot williams, thanks so much as always. much to watch. brianna? >> certainly is. so here in less than an hour we will be watching this. the suspect in the gilgo beach serial killings is going to be in court on long island. this is rex heuermann's first appearance since pleading not guilty to the murders of three women. police believe heuermann committed the killings inside of his family's home when his wife and two children were out of town. and after an intensive search of

it's just members of the community. and when you get notice you're being asked to come to jury duty, it simply is known as -- and they'll tell you is it grand jury or petit jury. as a potential juror you want the petit jury because there's less time involved. a grand jury, typical one meets on a monthly basis. you're going to stay impaneled for the month. and there's not much vetting for the grand jurors. unlike in a trial where you're used to the lawyers really asking a lot of questions. judges asking questions. there will be some general questions about generic impartiality. but usually they don't know yet the kinds of cases that they're going to be hearing evidence for. now, this grand jury will hear other cases as well. you sometimes will get a grand jury which only is doing one case. this one will hear other matters as well. so each day that they report in they're going to hear different cases and different kinds of evidence. but always the prosecutor will be their guide, so to speak. the prosecutor will talk to them

what are the next steps here? >> a grand jury has considerable executive power. they can issue subpoenas for testimony and for documents. and they're super secret so that people who are innocent aren't implicated and so witnesses can come testify without fear of reprisal or public humiliation or embarrassment. that's the tool prosecutors will also use to get an indictment. a grand jury is involved. it's called a grand jury because it's a bigger jury. the one you see on tv is a petit jury, 12 people. but the grand jury has the power to investigate and ultimately to indict. it doesn't mean for sure that anyone, particularly trump, is going to be charged, but it's an indicator that a prosecutor thinks there is smoke and possibly fire. >> so drawing on your knowledge of new york criminal law, what charges are possible for donald trump or any of these trump organization executives? >> new york has its own tax

UPDATE: All Charges Dropped for Florida Pastor Targeted by Feds – American Free Press

I don’t know a lot about Mr. Hovind, however, I watched a YouTube video he did about creation and the science of it and I can honestly say that I believe this man has been imprisoned for his religious beliefs, not for any laws he broke.
Good grief, look at all the crooks in Washington, D.C. Jesus said we would be persecuted because of Him. This man should be freed immediately and restitution made and this judge should be locked up. He also deserves a public apology from the U.S. government. In the end, all that is good will be labeled evil and all that is evil will be labeled good.
