years ago, chris, as you recall, we were all out jogging and everybody was getting in shape and it was a huge national thing and all of a sudden we find everybody is obese and too fat and especially among the poor and i think it's a, you know, it's a problem with families of parents, primarily, i think, with these kids. and it's a problem i think in society where people accept it. >> joy-ann, not to pick on miami, but i remember a few years ago at least when they had a story in "the new york times." i think that miami was the plastic surgery capital of america, that more people were having liposuction and making themselves look beautiful. i mean, you're around young people quite a bit. what do you see these days and where is the disconnect here? >> yeah, i mean, well, miami is also a city that has tremendous problems with obesity. people take south beach and

researchers. now, we're all guilty of this, asking our friends, do i look fat? on some college campuses don't bother asking because this week at least 35 college campuses are participating in fat talk free week. it's a national campaign focusing on body image and self-esteem. alexis sink is a senior at the university of cincinnati and i'm joined by my company gop strategist pat buchanan and joy-ann reid. alexis let me start with you. what is behind this idea? you have only been at it for a day, but how is it going? >> the idea behind fat talk free week is just to raise awareness about body dissatisfaction in collegiate women and just kind of raise awareness and we're going to be doing some different activities on campus to promote a positive body image. what are people saying about this? i'm sure folks are talking about it in the dorms and cafeteria. what is the feeling on how pervasive this is in the college

and if you were misled, who misled you and us. >> i know you have a theory on that, pat, what was it? people are saying, where are the weapons of mass destruction? >> the president has said, president bush has said i would have attacked even without the wmd, but he would not have gotten the support of the democrats for war and others if there was no evidence or allegation of wmd. i would like to know who's responsible for misleading him and misleading the nation, if he was misled. i don't know exactly. i do know the cia was confirming that. we heard about the slam dunk and all that from the director of the cia right in the oval office. and i think, i mean, it was really a complete toeltal failure of the intelligence agencies of the united states. >> and something in the news the last couple days, joy-ann. where did the administration think it got the legal grounds to detain citizens after 9/11, essentially a case we're seeing going before the supreme court.
