>> welcome to jesse waters. prime time tonight. so you will vote for biden.o "js >> mm, maybe. well, hey, man, hollywood stabbing biden in the back. >> when i heard that part of the testimony, i really wanted to get up off my chair and yell bull. >> what really happenshappen with george floyedd? jesse, what'd you have? a dirty mind? yo >> i think it's about. it's just about pride. u thinthe view goes nuts.>> >> plus. oh, hell no. >> it was 2020, and the viruse had shut down the country. but it wasn't politicians who opened it back up. wa his death did on may 25th, 2020. unofficial, he ended the lockdowns, bringing millions of protesters out milln of quarantine and onto the streets. >> but the george floyd stor to theys very is very different depending on who you talk to. >> he wa s arrested by minneapolis police after a convenience store said he used counterfeit money.ianapo 15 minutes later, he wasli on the grounafted screaming he couldn't breathe. and then he was unconscious. america was consumed with angerd and violence. dozen >> over two dozen people died. fires were set. squad cars destroyed. businesses looted. rioter cs caused nearly $2 billion in damage. police departmentss caus across the country were defunded. >> the police, the peoplee demoralized. >> this triggered a national crime wave, a pressure campaigno to force critical race theory into schools and arynt corporate shakedown that resulted in a massive transfer of wealthultedo highly respected. awarn award winning journalist from minneapolis named liz collin decided to investigate. because any initial investigation into george floyd hes deemed, deci racist and radioactive, her documentary our t today called the fall of minneapolis tells you things you haven'thea heard before. remember, this was the narrativree. d >> george floyd was a healthy young man, but the medical examiner, dr. andrew baker, fou found that he had two separate and very serious heart conditions. >> one artery was almost a completely blocked and floyd had lethal traces of fentanyl in his system. on top of covid 19, the medicalo examiner continued quote, ifad he were found dead at home alone and no other apparent causes, this could be acceptable to call an odd one. >> something as you can read, if doesn't matte ar if george floyd would have told the truth about fentanyl and methamphetamine fle. could that have helped to save c his life? yes. yes, it coulould thad have.have that's proven by what happened thatn he wasore, whe arrested by minneapolis police and he was putting tablets in his mouth. >> so wait a second. did you know that george floydh. had a similar interactiond with police just a year before his death? >>la how was george floyd acting during that arrest in 2019? everything was almost identical. himean 2019?, the initial stop n i first started approach him, you know, he was uncooperative. he wasn's t listen to my commands. >> he was very agitated. just >> kp your hands up where i can see him. >> oh, hey han, let me.them let you keep your hands where i can see him. >> this is a man. hand. >> they ain't going to let me c see their hands. during the time he was, hand i couldn't see his hands. he is moving around. we found out later. he's probablter hey eating dope. >> so this is a very importanttg piece of material that the>> jes country was denied access to. while black lives matter wrecked our country. and what were police doing when they were wrecking the country? >> we were ordered notng to down anything. waiting to be told what not to do nextg to b wha. w did you ever feel like there was a plan? i am reaching to the command post over and over again about what's our plan? what's our plan? what's our plad pon without anyu response whatsoever. they're not sayingt anythingt at all. >> no, nothing. comanche advice. ions >> the elections were coming up. everything's politically driven. they were going to use this incidentey werin thi for a polil narrative. >> and they did. and remember, this was an electn year and the media couldn't critique young voters. that >> they needed them fullyis engaged in a righteous cause. thbut it has been entirelya peaceful, sometimes angry,l, but entirely peaceful. e there's some of that. >> but for the most part, they have been very, very peacefulat. protest is a critical part of democracy. we cannot le beet protesters be likened to criminals. >> but most are collins's interviews with police officers who claim that the knee to thet, neck tactic, they call it maximum restraint technique. marty, was something they weree, trained to d traineo. >> were you trained in, marty? the maximal restraint technique? yes, yes, yes, yes, i was. y yes, we all were. yes, all the police officers were trained in marty. your police chief said on the stand that he didn'te di recognize that technique. mm-hmm. i. i heard him say that it's tough >> hear people lie, just straight lie. >> so these officersnneapoli are accusing the minneapolis police chief of committing perjur chiy during the george fd trial. the officers feee ofl they were sacrificed for politics. >> everything changed and it didn't have to. didn' had we had strong leadership. right. from from the very top, the governor, the mayor, our chief of police city council of minneapolis, the assistant chief and the efdeputy chiefs.t yo this is how you treat your people. >> you just turn your back on us here now. liz collins is an award winning investigative reporter and producer of the fallollin, of minneapolis, which is just breaking today. >> so how badly wererica the american people lied to? gosh, it's hard to condense this, jesse, in a short segment, to be honest. and that was really why we wanted to put out this documentarthat iy to give peopls look at the lies really from from the start. and we're still all paying the consequences of that. this is the very first time the police body camera footage was withheld from the public by minneapolis police. fowa a reason. so we start the films wi right there with here's what you know, you were not allowed to see. that was only leaked about two and a half months. months later, you have george floyd complaining that h hee can't breathe before derek chauvin even arrives on scene. you have a black officer whocerh arrested george floyd that day and alex king, and we speak to him quite a bit in the film. remember, this is supposed ki be the most racist police interaction in american history ,but nobody talks about thedy black officer. you also have on film the officers who are calling for an ambulances callin 36 secs after george floyd himself asks to be laid on the ground that day. and people should should be upset. lae groundd wonderhoul why was this kept from them for so long. i myself was workingd wo in mainstream media at the time, and i knew there was a lot more to this thi storys wo and was really disgusted about what the press knew, what they werein privy to, and they were refusing to pass ing to properly inform the public about what went on. >> liz, tell us a little publi t about that. >> 2019 george floyd arrest that we didn't know. again so again, we're told the very next day after what transpirede in 2020 that the minneapolis police department had nevert ha heard of george floyd, they'd never had any interaction with him at alheard l. e su but he had been the subject of an undercover drug investigation that went on for months by minneapolis police. and you see the arrest take o place of george floyd in 2019. n and he is saying almost exactly the same thingy ths he's saying. in 2020. if you play the body camera footagife boe from both incideno side by side, which we do a bi in the film, you can see that this is clearly someone who is experienced with police interactions. we go into his background again, that was that was heln. d from the public as well. it so you spoke to the t medicae expert who said it was odd to see the fbi meetingdd with te medical examiner for a local crime. we reached out to the fbi forth comment. >> we haven't heard back. well, let's listen to thist and quicklhay. >> the original autopsy wass do done 12 hours after he was12 declared dead. the official report that came out a little bit later, i'm told, was changed. what do you think of the c federal government'shagove involvement in this case? mentone of the first questions i asked was, was the fbit involved? when and when i found out the fbi f involvement was within 12 to 24 hours, that really raised a red flag for m4 e. . >> so is that unusual for the fbi to get involved likeloc that for a local crime? t >> you know, i'll be honest here. my husband was a long time minneapoliusband as police offii he was the president of the police union at the time. and he talks about this. i put out a book. it's called they're lying. the media, the lefd t in the death of george floyd that the movie is based on, on that book that came ouy art last year. but he talks about that in his 30 plus years. and in minneapolis, police serving. that's never happene thid beforn and everybody involved in the film talks about how they've never seend everyo the fil a cat to the fbi this quickly, that that call was made, we know, by the minneapolis police chief within hours of this incidents made. n and i do believe that, you know, this is why much of this evidence was kept from the public, because there was so much involvemen t from from people that had never been involved before. >> it was the autopsy report changed. o in >> so we in the book and alsoe i in the film, we kind of justlm h put it put it out there forne wt people that we have an autopsy done within 12 hours of george floyd's passing away. keep in mind, this is long beforeg long any buildings are burning in minneapolis. but you do see a narrative bnart change a bit over the course of several days. and wer th in we go intothat qui that quite, quite a bit. you have meetings over and overr again with prosecutors and you also have some some public documentationdn that just came to light about the immense pressure that prosecutor as fele to charge, especially these three other officers, that they, in fact tha, in court documents now say they were not comfortable chargingthey n these three other officers who are serving time in prison with sentences that range from this from 3 to 5 years. we know, of course, derek chauvin is behingingd bars forfs four more than 20. so a lot of this stuff is coming to light now, peopl but people really should question why and all p that medical documentation. it's all public documentation. reporters could have been reporting about it for a very long time. >>d how haporting s your reportg on george floyd affected you professionally j? >> well, i had to cancel culture come after me and inall? full effect. >> irs long time news ancho here in the twin cities and ian was demoted, lost my position that i hadchor, for nearly a d years. i'm a minnesota native, kind of worked at the station i grew up watching and and i was canceled, had many protests at my homew . in fact, i needed to, you know, lose my job. and in some cases, people wantet myd to threatenif. my life as well. but -- but really what bothered me most about all of this is that the truth wasn't being told. and, you kno w, these these men and women. minneapolis really lost the best of the best when itapos when it came to its police force. and we've seen this, sadly los, all across the country. and they need their voice back. and i hope andis in a way that s movie can do that. all right. "thes outof minneapoli now. if you're interested, take a look. lizz, thank you so muclook liz,h. >> thank you, jesse. >> the second elon musk bought twitter, the democrats realized the next election couldn't be rigged. the fbi wouldn't be ableer to censor speech to help biden win. >> musk had to be taken out. this was a job for media matters. the left wing media watchdog group put the hit out on friday. corporate ads on twitter are running right next to content, media matters claimed. they put out screenshotsnt of white supremacist videos next to ads for ibm, apple, man oracle, infiniti, bravo, many others. >> these are fortuney 500 companies, many of them. and they panicked. ibs m suspended advertising on twitter. so did apple, disney, comcas t, paramount. all those companies pulled ads . media matters then did a victory dance. the platform p is so saturatedcr with extremism, with white, with anti-semitic ism, piracy with racism, with conspiracy theories, things that otherwise theod in some way that they can't actually protect the few brands that are still willing to remain on the platform. >> but according to musk, media matters made this story up. they created musk, fake accounto and these fake accounts followed. then the fake accounts kept refreshing their pages until ads popped up. and then they took photos and claimed it was all organic. this is likefreshing paying peop li dress up as , sending thelem to a company headquarters, taking pictures of them at company headquarters, and then sayinf g, oh, you know, your company loves. >> elon musk caught thems red handed and is now hittingtig them with what he described as a thermonuclear lawsuit. to counter the, quote, fraudulentthermo attack. now, if musk wins this lawsuit in bankruptcy, media matters, it would constitute an enormous victory for free speech and the conservative media. >> prime time doesn't like when people lose their jobs, but in this case, we'll mak e anthis exception. michael shellenberger joins me now. ellenb >> sero how fraudulent was this boycott attempt by media matters? media >> hey, just good to be with mat you. i mean, it sounds shockingters. it sounds like if you're on x, formerly known as twitter, that you are being served up neo-nazi content and that it's all been tied together with these big brands. well, as you pointed out, this is they created fake accounts to follow neo-nazi faks. -nazis and then they say that they got those ads served. well, we did the the same thing as any journalists should have done as soon as they heard about this. he sthing,we created fake accou. we followed the exactd sa same pro-nazi accountsme that media matters names, and we couldn't get any ads. >> we refreshed constantlywe. we went into the actual contente itself. we then, when they followed througweh three times more pro-nazi accounts. same thing. we couldn't get any ads served up to us. so first of all, we were notd co able to replicate media matters. we asked media matters to respond, to explain how theyo gamed the system to be shown the ads after having already followed pro-nazi content. we didn't hearters back from th i think that tells you that what's going on here? there's more to more than meets the eye, i would say. >> so we knoeyw how wealthy musk is and we know what kind o of lawyers he can pay.e >> if you have a dozen of the most highly paid legal professionals descend upon media matters, would that bankrupt that outfit? >> well, you know, i'm a huge first amendment advocate. obviously, one free speech. people even have the right to lie. but you can't commit fraud. that's one of the restrictions on free speech. you can't yot do what media mats appears to be doing here, which is to manipulate it in a situation to lie about what's actually going on withwhat i the business in order specifically to hurt that business. >>rder t they created the storyd they wanted to sell here, which is that somehow there'sells a la of anti-semitism on x, that somehow the brands are being associated with thatsm anti-semitism. they had that in mind before they did their researc h. so this was this is clearly a case where they're using fraudulent methods to lie,hod to to manipulate the platform, to lie to to business is on business questions that starts to look like fraud. that'ss an a very serious charg. >> like could be very expensive, dangerous b. what they're trying to put trump out for for saying his company was worth more and, you know, creating these fraudulent estimations. >> they want to strip w his business license for that, even though there's no proofant >> and then we have proof that media matters did the exact same thing. f meif they were honest, they'd if,t say, your honor i'm guilty. and we. yeah, that's right. we pointr r, out we point out in his article that media matters has always been a front group for democratic party. it's always been a front group for the democratic party donors. rouporso you go and basically he this alliance between the advertisers and, a political party to censor and control what's on mediarms h platforms. that's very scary. that's very dangerouats. d an people should be very concerned about what's happening. they should speak up and defend free speech on x, on on all other social media platformd des because it's currently under attack by media matters. >> all right. go check out mike in substack. have a great evening, mike. >> thanks, jesse. hollywood abandoning joe biden. why do you think that is?
