Is getting a deeper blue every single year and westerville, you re not the only one. all across ohio, communities like westerville are turning blue, near cincinnati, near columbus and near akron, communities that used to be the base of the republican party are turning blue. large communities and by the way, driven largely by women. thank you very much, women, for making that happen. Ohio near columbus. it is the first gathering of the democratic contenders since speaker nancy pelosi labeled house officials of president trump a peace gathering. elizabeth warren deserves first mention now because of her rise to the top of many national and state polls. ohio is the perfect setting now for democrats to debate whether the agenda is too late to win back the heartland and win back the white house. elizabeth warren is in the top three. and to ma bernie sanders first day back since he suffered a heart attack. and hunter biden s debate day on nbc as a way to rebut the president s attacks, but also to say to democrats there is nothing there that would hurt the vice president s election
Senator there. the question to you this is this. there s this big question with the democrats about where their future is, whether or not they have to embrace they are now the party not of the traditional working class but of big cities, new immigrants, younger populations. do they embrace that and see te suburbs as a battleground, or do you think they continue to try to fight back for those working families that are all in those red areas? you can go to different parts of the country, and you have interviewed on your program, and you know over the years different democrats who will give you different answers. in some degrees, it depends on what state you re in. in a state as big let me switch walls here. in a state as big and complex as ohio, this is the current house delegation, 12 republicans and four democrats. if you want to win a house district, you ve got to have working class voters here. down here in columbus, if you want to win the city, which they do, then you re more of your progressive, liberal party in the city. if you want to win statewide, it s a lot more complicates, with i is why the key other 2018

Westerville, ohio near columbus. we re watching it from the midwest bureau. more now. this procession is scheduled to start any moment for the fallen officers shot over the weekend scheduled to begin at the franklin county coroner s office and end up in the funeral home at the small town north of columbus, ohio. it comes after a weekend of memorials and vigil for these fallen officers. police identified the suspect in the shooting at 30-year-old quintin smith. police say smith shot and killed 54-year-old officer anthony morelli and 39-year-old eric joe ring when she responded a 911 hang-up call at his home. they described the 911 call as potentially related to a domestic dispute. the officers were immediately met with gunfire as they went into the apartment.
