Audible is set to launch an audio-only singing contest, alongside one of the world’s biggest pop music acts.
Breakthough will be the first singing contest developed and launched exclusively as a podcast, the Amazon-owned American audiobook and podcast company announced Thursday (April 29). The series will be executive produced by Grammy Award-winning EDM artists The Chainsmokers (pictured), along with the podcast production company At Will Media.

As reported by Deadline, Apple has landed the exclusive rights to a new podcast about Siegfried & Roy. The series is being produced by Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Steven Leckhart.
The Siegfried & Roy podcast comes from Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Steven Leckhart, a producer on Netflix's Challenger: The Final Flight, and writer on HBO's What's My Name: Muhammad Ali.
Siegfried & Roy were a duo of German-American entertainers, best known for their appearances with white lions and tigers. Siegfried Fischbacher died in January, while Roy Horn, born Uwe Horn, died of Covid-19 last year. Famously in 2003, a white tiger named Montecore attacked and badly injured Horn during their act at the Mirage in Las Vegas.

In Fact, a new iHeartRadio podcast that bills itself as a look into “the world of public health through shared stories.” Each week, Clinton invites guests—from politicians to celebrities to activists—to talk about crises like addiction and climate change.
“I love podcasts so much I think, in part, because I grew up listening to NPR with my mom,” Clinton tells ELLE.com. “I could probably listen to 12 straight hours of podcasts, and I saw an opportunity in this space to have a broader conversation about public health. I don’t want people to think public health is just synonymous with COVID.”
