>> thank you, stephanie. >> my mvp is definitely worthy. nobody likes who i have chosen, but i have chosen the irs, this week, specifically, because they announced that they collected half a billion dollars from millionaires who had not paid the taxes that they owed our government. now, the irs said it was thanks to the additional money that they got from the inflation reduction act. remember, they got all that money, so the upgraded equipment, hired new agents and increased enforcement of tax laws that were already on the books. not in the new laws, they just unforced what we have. remember, republicans have been against this money from the start. they have been chipping away at it, but wealthy people paying what they owe should not be a partisan issue. it is about fairness. so, this week, i congratulate the irs. steve, katie, molly, josh, thank you also, so much.

testimony and it's a bad picture. trump can posture all he wants about what happened that day and lie to his supporters who willingly believe him, but we all know what happened. this is just one more pretty bad dom aknow to fall for donald trump from dan scavino, so so close to the president. >> yeah, and molly we talk about earth one and earth two, and i suppose that applies here as well, because on earth two i suppose donald trump can go out there on the campaign trail as he did this weekend and call january 6th prisoners hostages, and he can talk about antifa and the fbi, and he was doing that this week, and he was doing other things and we will talk about that as well, but on earth one it sounds like dan scavino has been talking to the special counsel. >> yeah. i mean, look, every time a republican continues on this earth two thing, at least the
presidents, and andrew jackson was the first, and andrew johnson was the second, and woodrow wilson was the third and nixon was the fourth, and trump has been the fifth. we are really comparing authoritarian personalities, and i have to tell you trump is the poster boy. he's the worst we ever had and the most dangerous we ever had, and nixon had a conscience, and that's something donald trump does not have, and that makes it easier for trump to do what he wants to do, and nixon had lines he would not cross. while there are comparisons and similarities, the differences and the bouttom line is significant. >> all right, molly, s.c. and john, thank you. >> thank you. coming up next, breaking news, and new details about

[applause] >> you brought up the economy earlier, and i promise you we will get to it, i want to get to it now with you, molly. molly -- is a college student republican who says she will support any republican other then donald trump. ouyou knmy sonllaught is thing that every young indiviof cfitho trand nowsaying oh, we're go to look when fori a nd so they're worried they're not going to have to afford a pace to stay and rent. they're worried they're not going to be able to find a job. they are worried about the death of the country's, in an inflation that's gone up, that everything is more expensive. from their standpoint, they're looking at a country, and they're wondering how they are going to get through. and what we owe it to them as to get the country on track. the way we get the economy on track is to first acknowledge that there is a spending problem in d. c.. and it's not a republican problem or a democrat problem, both of them did that to us. when you look at that 2. 2 trillion dollar covid stimulus bill that they passed with no accountability, they have now left us with 80 million americans on medicaid, 42 million americans on food stamps. that's a third of our country. and then republicans open back up earmarks and pet projects for the first time in ten years? pushing through 7000 of them last december. we can't afford things like that. so when it comes to our economy and getting inflation under control, the first thing we need to do is crawl -- over 100 billion dollars of unspent covid dollars that are still out there. instead of 87,000 irs agents going after middle america, let's go after the hundreds of billions of dollars of covid fraud. one out of every $7 was spent
