>> well, you can't help but happy for thte families. i'm sure if it were our kids, we would just be focused on wanting our kids back. so i understand that sentiment completely. c i think the broad orerom risk is this. well, one, if you just look at the terms of the deal, for every 3 terrorists that israel is releasing, you're getting 1 g innocentet civilian released by hamas. c so israeivl is releasing suicide bombers, terrorists who were stabbing jews, and hamas is, meanwhile, releasing 13-year-old girls, 9-year-old girls, reportedly some toddlers. so that just goes to show there's no moral equivalence here. quivwe've also had past deals le this, notably 2011 whereby the current leader of hamas in gaza was released in return for an israeli soldier that have come backn is to bite israel. so that is b the broader concer. there's no moral equivalence here no matter how much hashtags freeht palestine trends on tiktr there'sal the issue'e that hamah reportedly has violateasd the terms of the ceasefire already. we were supposedre tado see thev cross visiting victims, fore, example, w we haven't seen thath and we know that hamas is going to use these periodic releasesr ofto prisoners in order to drag out a potential ceasefire which would be damaging to israel's security, so i think we should look at this less as ac diplomatic breakthrough and more as an extension of hamas're psychological warfare designedf to continue to increase thee international pressurein on isrl in pursuit of a permanent ceasefire, and that would be aa babad outcome. sean: congressman, i want to on to china because we've seen the chinese spy balloon,bu we've seen they're buyingl ou american farmland, but i want to talk to you about the secret bio lab run by chinese with ties too th te ccp in greeley, californi. how manymany of these secret bio labs exist around the country? is tha tt why they didn't come n and investigate? >> well, based on oured investigation, they did not know it existed until the local officials discovered it.so so the local official afterse seeing theei pipe went inside te building and saw a bunch of people in lab coats, most ofth them chinese citizens, and therl were all these t vials that wern labeled in mandarin eventually t discovered to beo even labeled ebola oror hawaii. therwae was one case where there was a freezer when the cdc finally did get there, there was a medical grade freeze everybody, and inside were thesa silvergs ziploc bags. anbagsd because the bags themses were not labeled ebola though the freezer was labeled ebola,ye they refused to even test the samples. so even when they got on site,o they refused taco actually do their job. again, it's incredibly troubling. 9 and the guy whblino owned the facility claimed that he had a medical testing kit business,, but it was fraudulent. he had fake pregnancy tests, fake covid tests, and there's really no business reason for him to be buying pathogens online. there's -- and he wad hes gettig unexplained wire transfers from china. c over $2 million of unexplained wire transferses from china. again, incredibly troubling. we have to do a better job of defending our homeland from a potential attack involving different pathogens.i wa sean: i want to move on to thisc congressman, because theau pentagon has expressed concern about a how china has expanded its ground satellites in southis america to communicate withte their satellites in space, giving them eyes almost up toat the united states. this is esa problem where the united statees has forgotten oui hemisphere. chinspa hachs engaged. they've bought ports, mineral rights, and they're building o relationships in ourur back tur hocow concerned are you about te expansion of their presence in our hemisphere? >> i'm? incredibly concerned. it appears to me that after, you know, a couple decades ofd neglect, we've allowed the ccp to turn the monroe doctrine into the mao doctrine. and we've had multiple reports. you referenced them buying up portmult facility ifs. ints terms of the smart cranes, they have something like 90% of the global market share. a lot ofs that is concentrated a loin our own ports as well asn ports in in and central america. we had the report last year of a massive potential spy base to b located insp cuba and then repos like the one you just j referenced.us and, of course, this phenomenon of sort of pink or to leftist red e governments popping up all over our southern hemisphere. it's time that we pay attention to our own backyard. for a while we just gott complacent, right?
