the house just passed a stop-gap bill to prevent a government shutdown. isn't that the reason they got rid of kevin mccarthy? more on that later in the show. and biden sitting down with xi jinping tomorrow for what is sure to be long american surround. and the thunder dome, we'll get into that later on. first, license to kill is focus of tonight's "the angle." growing up in the '70s, changes were happening, withdrawal from vietnam, nixon resigning, gas lines and the jimmy carter malaise. with all of that, i don't remember ever hearing about stories of mobs, mostly young people brazenly committing criminal actses. the christmas season is around the corner, you're hearing christmas music, and fed ex. truck drivers are not just worried about getting packages on time. >> robbery of a fed ex truck, multiple cars blocked him at the red light in south memphis around 8:30 saturday night and broke into his truck and stole $100,000 of deliveries, putting our city on edge. >> laura: no one arrested so far and lack of consequences propelled other rampages nationwide. chicago has seen its fair share. [shouting] >> laura: and earlier this fall, 100 or so thugs ransacked stores in philadelphia. the cctv footage of how casually they ended up getting into this pharmacy, smashing everything and taking what they could is chilling. same mo every time, everyone in a mask or hoody or hat and because remember, after 2020, it is totally normal for peep toll wear surgical mask and gloves in public, just do that. in total today, 70 arrests have been made there. here are some of the mug shots. the accused are mostly in 20s and 30s, mostly african american. and john lewis, beaten by a mob at school. most of these attackers are minors. the victim was white, the attackers appear to be black. of course, most of the media ignoring that information because crime is crime, no matter who is committing it. when you have media trying to help pull joe biden across the finish line in 2024 and doesn't want to admit we have a major crime problem in this country, you learn that the press takes every potential story about crime and turns it into a story about race. ask yourself, why does race get prominently mentioned when the criminal is white and the victim is black. >> kicking things off with bloody saturday and alabama sweet teaparty. i'm talking about the alabama brawl that took place after two white men attacked a black boat captain. >> group of white men attacked him before it escalated to a bigger fight. >> laura: turns out racism was not a motivating factor. jim catrell told daily beast, he thought race might have been a factor, but the melee was not a black and white thing. the media's first instinct is ignore race of the criminal unless white people are the perpetrators. remember one of biden's main themes for 2024, throughout his administration is white people in the united states are fundamentally racist and evil history. media are seeking every opportunity to promote that message. this is why black on black crime, majority of criminals and victims in the united states are black and black women are especially hard hit, that story is largely ignored. black women account for 20% of crime victims. in new orleans black people make up the majority of murder victims. not just in those two places, for decades, liberal sociologists say what is committed by black men is linked to violence perpetrated against them during the slave period. this idea is nothing new, past unfair treatment of people in the past justifies or explains future bad behavior. another word, victimhood plays. richard williams once argues, the world is full of victims. >> sit down and decide which people have faced most destruction, most oppression in the world. turks and armenians, the nazis with the jews, the irish and catholic. persecute people, nothing unique about blacks. if you look at history and decide who is persecuted most, it is a useless battle. >> laura: in effort to smear america as racist and evil country, our leaders created generation that believes it has a license to vandalize, steal, beat and kill. their home life, popular culture, even schools are teaching them toxic, depressing lessons about race and the american experience. the floyd riots, taught them burning and looting, if done in large numbers, will go unpunished. cite a grievance and expect leniency. if you america, democrats will back you up. this has done huge damage to race relation and minority and working clas communities who are struggling to make ends meet. >> someone will end up getting killed, innocent bystander. you have good people that are good citizens carrying guns because they are scared of this stuff coming to their door. >> laura: biden administration and supporters in the pres don't care what is best for minorities or any americans for that matter, they care about one thing, winning reelection and staying in power. that is not easy to do when crime is such a problem. they plan to solve that problem, not by stopping crime, but by blaming america. so they'll smear the founders and know ares, police, anyone they can think of in the folks of scaring folks to vote for biden. they don't want minority communities to be confident and prosperous, they want them scared rather than voting for peace, prosperity, safety. we have to keep reaching out and telling the truth about america, about crime. until that message breaks through. once we have no leadership, new leadership, we can teach the ancient lesson that crime does not pay and that's "the angle." joining me is kevin mcgrery, co-life of every black life matters and horace cooper, author and legal commentator. kevin, it is sad for everyone, the victims mostly, but also for a lot of young people in urban america, especially who are taught that victimhood pays and that violence is actually just a perfectly fine instinct. what has to happen next >> kevin: thank you for having me, laura. we are seeing complete undermining of all of the systems. we see undermining of family and education by our children being propagandaized and brainwashed into thinking everything has to do with colonialists and supremacists that have taken over all the money and be jos and therefore you're a victim. you got to go out and get yours, they have taken your opportunity. these are messages that have been postalated for the past two generations, i would say and right now hitting stride. these are all part of a marxist, cultural marxist stream we're in now and we see the outcomes that are wholly disproportionate. we don't see crimes, certain types of crimes being talked about because it is inconvenient narrative. everything is narrative driven and they want, if they can, to get races aggrieved and clashing and bitter and hateful toward one another because that is and produces another cog, if you will, that undermines america and ultimately provides a system that is in collapse. you go to globalist and communist stuff. >> laura: horace, in washington, d.c., the mayor bowser has been forced to respond to the crisis. this is what she said. >> i will declare public emergency to allow government response, especially to procuring services to be expedited. those issue of opioid overdoses and the second issue is youth violence. >> laura: horace, she is stating the problem we know exists, but what after that? d.c. is just -- has become in large part an unliveable city. people are scared in d.c. now it is an emergency? i say it was an emergency a long time ago, wasn't if? >> you left out the most exciting clip, they give out apple air tags so when your car gets stolen, you can track it down and let me figure this out. law abiding citizen, criminal took my car, i will meet the criminal, what good came from that? broadly speaking, neo-marxist cultural attack on america managed to do what covid couldn't and that is, it has led to a quicker loss of life for black americans. the age at which blacks are dying because of the crime wave is dropping relative to rest of the population. in fact, in '21 and in '22, centers for disease control listed for black more thanes something it has not listed for any other group. it says loss of life by homicide, one of the top 10 causes of death. not for asian, not for whites or native americans, but for blackern ms. there is good news, though, because the open season that is leading to the closing in your community and so that grandma has to take a bus to pick up a prescription and it costs more at the new location. good news is that black americans are telling anyone who will listen, they are no longer staying on the democrat plantation. record numbers are black americans are showing up on social media and telling pollsters, they are not going along with this. >> laura: that is great news. >> they want america that our founders fought for. >> laura: democrats, to that point, have been beginning to hemorrhage black voters. here is how biden campaign responded to what seems to be new reality. >> talk about the maga extremists that wanting to roll back what we has achieved. our focus is telling this message, be honest about the brick wall of maga extremism we run into when trying to get things done for the american people. >> laura: does he mean the maga ectremism that led to record homeownership or rising income or enforced border, was that the maga ecextremism? your reaction? will that work? >> kevin: that does not work, average black family is feeling, in some cases we are seeing three x inflation. every time we go to the store or fill up our cars, we are feeling it. elderly black americans on fixed income, they are feeling it and have to accommodate a hit, that is average american citizen, $800 a month more under bidenomics than we did in the prior administration. about $9600 a year. everyone is feeling it, it is pervasive. forget maga this, that is ridiculous. what we are feeling, our ability and progidy. it has a pervasive effect. >> laura: sorry to interrupt. horace, will we see significant erosion, 5% or more, of the black vote in 2024 toward republicans? >> blacks are going to vote in numbers that could exceed 15%, could 20%, but definitely 15%, making states like new jersey and pennsylvania difficult for the left to carry. they own this. the progressives created this heartbreak in black america and black americans are standing up and they are saying no more. >> laura: gentlemen, thank you both. now china president xi just touched down in the newly spruced up san francisco the last hour. if you want to know how president biden was warming up for the big meeting, wait until we show to my house too. wow. donate and help the marines deliver hope to a child in need. >> laura: the bos just touched down in san francisco. of course i'm talking about chinese president xi jinping who landed an hour ago. he's agreed to give the american president an audience tomorrow. of course "new york times" is desperately trying to convince all of you that we benefit from a rising china. they called our relationship the world's most successful joint venture and urged against decoupling. the world's two largest economies are intertwined even as tensions fray their ties, these two depend on each other. media ush approximates a u.s.-china love affair, how is biden prepping for the face-to-face. >> president biden: i've seen what is clear, existential threat to all of us and to humanity. >> laura: joining me john ratcliffe, former trump -- of intel. it is hysterically funny. sad, but funny, our own chief says china is our biggest threat, joe biden says it is climate change. >> i don't want to say climate change is not real, on worldwide threat assessment, intelligence community had climate change on page 34. china was page one, they are greatest geopolitical threat. even if you believe climate change was the threat joe biden and aoc and others say, all the green new deal taxes and everything joe biden talks about will not make a dent as long as the world's biggest polluter china is part of those agreements. are you going to make a dent in the issue? what is worry some about this summit that is taking place is the old football coach bill parcells said you are what your record says you are. joe biden is 0-for everything. from day one diplomats getting rebuked on u.s. soil to getting the middle finger on covid to spy balloon that after it completed its mission and was shot down, we have been chasing them to have conversations with us. this seems like colmunation of the biden begging tool, sending his cabinet members over to beg for this meeting and now we have this sitdown tomorrow where it is not even just a matter of having low expectations, we have nothing to gain and everything to lose when joe biden is negotiating on behalf of the american people. >> laura: john, the president did speak about this, watch. >> president biden: we are not trying to decouple from china, we are trying to change the relationship for the better. from my perspective if in fact the chinese people, who are in trouble economically. the average citizen in china able to have a decent paying job, that benefits them and all of us. >> laura: funniest thing is wind turbines, they are spinning in a graphic behind him. sorry, but wind bag and turbines that are made in china, so much irony in those comments in the backdrop. it seems to me they made a decision long ago because climate change was their number one priority, they would never use their leverage as purchaser of chinese goods, as it should be used against china. they don't even think about it. >> lieb the "new york times" headline about the successful joint venture and they are a friendly competitor. only people believe that are people that tell you bidenomics is good for the economy and making their lives better. one partner robbed the other blind. what intelligence and facts tell us, rising china has been built on intellectual property theft and economic and military espionage and trillions over the years and this just really underscores that joe biden and this administration has been soft on china, just as they have been soft everywhere with all of our adversaries, iran and russia. china advanced around the globe and their position has improved and china is working to influence and interfere the election in 2024. they want joe biden to continue to be a weak u.s. president. >> laura: yeah, our own state department warned what china is planning next year, that is the state department. great to see you. thank you. in iceland, city streets are cracking in half and steam is in the air and fear of volcanic explosion is growing. joining me is max gordon. what is happen something >> yeah, scary situation? iceland. volcanic gases forced evacuation of a town that had been evacuated because of seismic activity. they were allowed to return to get belongings. but there was a second evacuation. the town is southwest of iceland's capital, it is the latest site of volcanic f dseard and gases seeping out of cracks in the earth. here is one resident what it was like evacuating. we had to drive over cracks in the road to get out and we saw the news and it said the road was closed because one of the cracks had opened and ush approximated up by underlying magma field and they closed the road. >> crews are gathering material to construct defense wall to support infrastructure from lava flow. the popular tourist attraction blue lagoon has been closed. new data suggests if the vol canno does, it won't release toxic age and smoke plume. >> laura: interesting and thank you.
