[laughter] and fourth i will cancel any unnecessary and costly biden regulation that is driving up prices. the biden regulations that added 10,000 a year in regulatory costs per household by contrast under my administration, we saved $10,000 per household. nobody has ever seen anything like it. i -- more tax cuts that be any president in history. including ronald reagan with his big tax cuts. more regulation cuts than any president in history and we rebuilt our military military and we added space force. what we did is incredible. now, the rebuilt military, you know, unfortunately this fool left afghanistan with $85 billion, a brand new planes and tanks and even goggles, night goggles, 77,000 vehicles. think of it if you took the largest car lot in florida they don't have more than 500 cars. maybe 700, maybe 1,000. 77 trucks and vehicles. many of them armor plated were left in afghanistan. and i tried to explain to people we were getting out with dignity and strength. but the first thing you do is take your military out last. they took the military out fest first. and once the military were gone the taliban had a field day. we lost 13 soldiers and nobody mentions the 38 soldiers that were horrifically wounded with their arms blown off, their legs blown off. they have face so badly damaged. they are warriors. they are warriors. but nobody mentions them. i mention them all the time. [applause] and fifth, while biden wants to drive up prices even further with the largest tax hike in history, you know, he looks -- all my life i have been watching politics and i always sort of enjoyed politics, i guess, otherwise i wouldn't be up here right now. but i have been watching it. and i have always seen politicians want to do tax cuts. this is the only group they want to increase your taxes by four times. four times hoyer than you are paying right now. they don't want the trump tax cuts to be permanent. we gave you the largest tax cut in history, they want to terminate that at the end of another six, seven months. and can you imagine that and i want to make them permanent and then i'm going to reduce taxes by still more. do you know then after we gave the tax cuts, our country took in with half the tax -- our country took in because of incentives and because we hlt greatest economy in the history of our country, you know we took in more tax revenue with far less tax. we taxed at far less but we took in much more revenue. think of that. so we cut taxes down from 49 for business, 49, much more than that when you add in state and local down to 21%. and, yet, we took in more revenue at a much lower rate. who would think that's even possible? but that's the way it works. i want to get it down still further and especially for the middle income people. we're going to get it down still further. that's why we had such great job production. best job production in history as part of those tax cuts eliminate taxes on tips and anyone else against tips. no more taxes on tips. [applause] >> you know how i did that? it wasn't really a lot of study and work. i have been hearing it about it for years how unfair it is. and biden just passed a set of regulations that make it impossible for waitresses and people to get -- any people getting tips. he passed something that makes it impossible i have been hearing and last week i was in las vegas at a beautiful building that i built and is great, the trump hotel. and i'm having, you like it. i like it, too. and i was having dinner with a group of people on the campaign and the waitress came over. she was very nice and i said if you could have any wish, what would it be? >> that we get rid of the taxes on tips, sir. they are so vicious. you know they hired 88,000 irs agents to go after people. [broken audio] information that -- i will peace through strength remember hillary was saying he is going to cause. >> laura: all right, that's the president celebrating, wrapping up his huge birthday bash. 78 years old on flag day. that's in west palm beach. sold out crowd. he is confident and a great mood it seems. joining us now sean duffy co-host of fbn the bolted line matt towery political analyst and pollster. sean, let's go to you. you do sense he has always had swagger, but now you sense that he is in a really good mood. and i don't think it's really because he had a lot of friends there on his birthday. he knows something special is in the air. >> he sees the polling, right in if you watch how much fun is he having up there as a candidate, it's always really important to be on message. donald trump will tell many of the same stories, have the same messaging speech after speech. kind of a lay up for him, laura, is he comparing his record from his presidency to what we're all living through right now with joe biden and it's a really easy comparison to make and people remember it. they want a better economy. they want a stronger border. they want peace in the world. they don't want to see inflation that's sky high. so it's a layup for donald trump. which by the way is why his polls are going up with hispanics and blacks. why is he actually winning the under 30 vote democrat voting block. donald trump is winning it. ains. >> laura: i think he is at his best and my favorite, matt, when he is aspirational. i think to sean's point we all know what his record was. we know how it felt, you know, pay for gas and it was two bucks a gallon and people had extra money in their pockets. we had peace around the world we already know that this is what i'm going to do for you. in those moments tonight, you heard the response. >> yeah. well the single most important thing he said tonight, as far as i'm concerned, is when he talked about no tax on tips. that is an incredibly powerful issue. it goes across so much of this country and people who are otherwise might even not think of voting for donald trump. when it comes down to their own wallet and comes down to this proposal, if he takes this and runs with it, this opens up a whole different area that i have not seen necessarily donald trump get in the past. service workers, people in restaurants and the like who necessarily don't always agree with his politics but they may liv that proposal and it's a lot better for him than seeing someone talk about getting kids who graduated from college 30 years ago a break after they have already made a million dollars, right? >> laura: and i also think, sean, his reference to the hispanic americans. he talked a lot in this speech as he often does about immigration and the border totally out of control. hispanic americans supporting him because they see the disaster that's unfolding. and, if this isn't stopped and if we don't have a massive deportation force, which he brought up, the america that we know will never recover. >> competent. true like every other single american likes competent leaders, you saw a lot of people in 2016 when donald trump was strong on the border, they thought he was going to lose voters. only gone up hispanic americans are americans first. brought up the point of immigration. what happens to housing? what happens to jobs when you have 16 million new people coming in to compete in the labor force but also for housing, it destroys an economy and i think it's important for him to double down. you know what? we are going to remedy it. send people back to their home countries. and think you are the liberal media, laura, you sit and look at this and said we called him a racist and insurrectionist and felon. and none of it has worked. they are pulling their hair out to go unified the republican party to your point he is aspirational. we don't have any a arrows in or quiver. he keeps winning with the message resonating with the american people. >> laura: matt, they are going back to the lines first time hakeem jeffries said you should be ashamed of yourself for inviting the insurrectionist in chief back to the -- all the old stuff. it didn't work nobody buys it and it's all they have. trump seems to be sweep it off, brush it off, and keep going. he is the energizer bunny. going to detroit. we find out today that he is opened a big office in philadelphia for minority outreach. speak to that, if you would, matt, how important is this outreach to the deepest blue areas of this country? >> well, i think it's critical. and i will also say this. i mean, since that trial, when he was found guilty and nothing in any of the polls, he has just been reenergized. because now, everything they say this same retread of, he, you know, don't bring him will here. none it is working, you are right. it's important they get out there to the new areas. one thing i'm watching, laura, that is this federal government effort to try to register voters, that we don't really know about. as a pollster, i want to know more about that because, when i poll a universe, i have to know who those voters are going to be. >> laura: i think they know that -- there have some tricks up their sleeve, perhaps, the voter registration that's a big thing and have you your-on that. sean and matt, thank you both of you don't. as i said trump is gearing up for this trip to the motor city this weekend. major democrat strong hold. remember in 2016 hillary got 95% of the vote there. trump got 3%. 2020, biden got 94%, trump jumped to 5%. so, campaign in a city that really embraces you. that's easy. you go into these democrat strongholds. that takes guts. it's a vision. joining me now, israeli parker, a trump supporter from detroit. and kimberly who san undecided voter from just outside the city. both are attending the trump event tomorrow. kimberly, now, let me start with you. thanks for staying with us and watching and listening in on the trump speech did you hear anything tonight that might poll supporters in for donald trump and very liberal city like detroit? >> yes. who was that for? >> laura: that is for you, kimberly. >> you know, i did hear something about the recommitment to the american people and making sure that there's prosperity within our borders much and not sending it elsewhere. and that is something appealing to people as we are dealing with this inflation at an all-time high and just really -- instead of striving, you know, we are just barely surviving right now. and i have never seen a time like this. >> laura: valerie, former president trump spoke very passionately about the need to bring down the cost of energy. and he said in his first year he is going to cut energy prices by half. and that can probably happen if you lift all the regulations on how oil and gas moves in the country, which is a big thing now. how important is the cost of energy to the regular working class people out there? >> well, it's very important the energy costs but there are also concern about the threat of the grid being shut down people have to consider about paying their bills or cell phones or are they new generation with the electrical if anything happened with that they wouldn't know how to survive in the 21st century. i think owe makes a valid point. i think with the energy costs it would make things easier and low income people they have a channels to get ready for this grid. they keep threatening they are going to shut down. i think what he is saying is right on point and it's going to help a lot of people. >> laura: kimberly, you said handouts, they are not the answer to lifting people out of this economic malaise that they are in. what did you mean by that?
