Oregon counties vote to secede, join Idaho as residents get tired of left-wing lunacy

So they are voting with their feet. Or trying to.
Several counties voted earlier this month to consider joining Idaho, which has long been far more conservative (and sane) than its uber liberal neighbor, though admittedly, the prospect of actually getting to join Idaho is a long-shot (if the current rules are followed, that is).
Voters in Malheur, Sherman, Grant, Baker, and Lake counties approved various measures that require county officials to take steps to look into moving the Idaho border west to incorporate the counties.
The grassroots group Move Oregon’s Border for a Greater Idaho is aiming to have the eastern counties—which are mostly rural—join Idaho because they believe they would be better off with Idaho’s more conservative political leadership.

Five Oregon Counties Vote to Secede and Join Idaho

Five Oregon Counties Vote to Secede and Join Idaho
19 May 2021
Five rural Oregon counties voted on Tuesday to secede from the state of Oregon and join the state of Idaho.
The
Idaho Statesmanreported:
Thousands of people in eastern Oregon voted Tuesday for their elected officials to consider ditching their state and becoming part of Idaho.
Voters in Sherman, Lake, Grant, Baker and Malheur counties all voted for ballot measures that would lead to them becoming Idahoans. People in Union and Jefferson counties had already voted in favor during the November election. . .
The vote is only the first step of the “Greater Idaho” project, which would allow some Oregon counties to join a state that advocates say more closely aligns with their political preferences.

Joe Carollo Suggests Miami and Hialeah Secede From Miami-Dade County

Just when you think Miami politics can't get any more dramatic, the city's leaders always seem to have a way of one-upping themselves. Take, for instance, City of Miami Commissioner Joe Carollo, who has apparently been entertaining thoughts of seceding from Miami-Dade County after a feud about... street blockades.
This past weekend, Miami-Dade County and the City of Miami butted heads over a set of streets in Silver Bluff, a Miami neighborhood north of Coconut Grove and east of Coral Gables. The city recently placed concrete barriers on five side streets in Silver Bluff to prevent cars from using the neighborhood to circumvent heavy traffic on nearby Coral Way, but the county forcibly removed the barriers, igniting an intense feud.

"Now Scotland": Pseudo-left groups form new alliance with nationalist hardliners

“Now Scotland”: Pseudo-left groups form new alliance with nationalist hardliners
Hardline Scottish nationalists and sections of the Scottish pseudo-left have formed “Now Scotland”, described as a “grassroots, non-party campaign”.
The new formation emerged from the All Under One Banner (AUOB) collection of Saltire-waving demonstrators who, pre-lockdown, held monthly marches in favour of an immediate second referendum on Scottish independence. A series of online meetings last year resulted in the group forming “Yes Alba”, before ditching the name in favour of “Now Scotland” so as not to offend Gaelic language activists.
The new organisation is an adjunct of the most pro-independence faction of the ruling Scottish National Party (SNP). Its purpose is to emulate the Yes Scotland alliance of the SNP, Scottish Greens and the pseudo-left Scottish Socialist Party, which mobilised nationalist campaigners prior to the 2014 Scottish referendum. Scottish elections are due this year. The SNP is committed to tabling legislation for a new referendum should it win a majority.
