welcome to "hannity". tonight we are broadcasting live from the grand old opry right here in beautiful nashville, tennessee, which is the site of the fifth annual patriot awards. that kicks off tomorrow. don't miss it. 6:30 p.m. only on fox nation. coming up the one and only kid rock right here on our set. that will be a lot of fun. we begin tonight on the west coast where the president of the united states just wrapped up a series of high-stakes meetings with the dictator of china president xi. this was after months of begging and pleading and begging and ass kissing. america's relationship with china has severely deteriorated since joe biden has become president. and frankly for good reason. china we all know infected the world with covid-19, a disease that killed more than 1 million americans. there has never been any accountability. they continue to ship massive quantities of cheap fentanyl to north america. that's a drug that is killing 200 of our fellow americans every single day. again, never held accountable. they threaten our allies including taiwan and the philippines constantly. flying into taiwan airspace constantly. they conduct hostile maneuvers around our military aircraft in international airspace. they confront our navy in international watters. joe biden does nothing. of course they buy cheap gas and oil from russia and iran to make them rich and cold from north korea. that new axis of evil. they steal our intellectual property. they use unfair trade practices. our country is frankly stupid enough to actually allow communist chinese nationals to come into our country and by thousands and thousands of acres of farmland and thousands and thousands of acres of ranchland and also land around our military bases. by the way, donald trump challenge them and confronted them. he warned them. he put massive tariffs never before done on them. and guess what? they didn't do all of this when america had a strong president. and of course they spy on americans including the bizarre spy balloon incident where a massive floating object equipped with surveillance equipment all went for well over a week traversing all across the united states over our military installations. i am pretty sure donald trump would not have allowed that to happen either and would have shot that air balloon down much sooner. there are some things that you may not know. for starters china's economy is now a dumpster fire. it's draconian zero covid policies has taken a serious toll on the country. it's real estate market is basically an awful collapse. they've had a massive population. it is in a steep decline. it's once growing middle class is now imploding. as a result china is more dangerous than ever. president xi is desperately looking for a win and with the pathetically weak u.s. president at the helm, what better time than right now? here is joe biden from earlier today. look very, very, very sleepy joey. >> i have never doubted what you told me in terms of which you speak. i value our conversation because i think its paramount that you and i understand each other clearly leader to leader. with no misconceptions or miscommunication. we also have a responsibility to our people and the work with the world to work together and in our interest to do so. a critical global challenge will be face to climate change to narcotics to artificial intelligence and demand our joint efforts. >> hey joe, i promise you, president xi and china don't care about climate change. they think your stupid for paying all the money with the paris climate accords. biden followed up that performance with a very short lackluster press conference moments ago where he called on preselected reporters. hold on, let me call from, they told me to call on joe. okay. and then of course responded to their questions by reading prewritten answers. how convenient. take a look. >> now i'd like to be able to take some questions. i am told that dimitri of the financial times has the first question. next question, sorry, was bloomberg. we are in a situation where we agreed that fentanyl and precursors will be curbed substantially and the pillow presses. that's a big movement. i am embarrassed. i think it cbs, but i can't remember who from cbs. i am sorry. sorry. i apologize. what have you've got? washington post? i think that's right. there you are. sorry, i couldn't see in the late. >> got to cut joey some slack. is way past his bedtime. that is usually 7:00 p.m. eastern. he is not used to traveling either. to make matters worse, more concessions from biden. today he agreed to limit the use of artificial intelligence technology in america's military and china is threatening to invade our ally taiwan and we are agreeing to limit our enteric capabilities. not a good idea. experts at shooting by then of giving up a massive strategic advantage and calling his deal with president xi an incredibly poor decision. let's just say, i will be kind about this, he is rather dumb, naïve and stupid. it looks like he wants more multimillion dollar deals with china for him and his family and his son hunter. when will biden ever stand up for america first? is he even capable of making a right decision? keep in mind what we told you last night. just this week joe biden this week freed up another $10 billion for the iran, the number one state sponsors of terror. the same iran involved in the biggest terrorist attack in israel's history. by the way, this also after a growing number of attacks against our soldiers in the middle east and that most experts believe they had a hand in. today a u.s. destroyer targeted during a drone attack from an iranian proxy in yemen. how did joe respond? as per usual he did nothing. america's enemies get favorable deals. by the way, cold hard cash. american soldiers get shot at and nobody defends them. is anyone surprised that biden's approval rating just got even lower? a quinnipiac bull came out and biden only has a 37% approval rating. as biden is limping towards 2024, what can we expect from china in the coming weeks and coming months? joining us now is 2024 presidential candidate, former un ambassador nikki haley with us. good to talk to you and have you back. >> thanks, sean. great to be with you. how embarrassing this all is. >> it really is embarrassing. but it's not just embarrassing. it's also scary. i've been spending an awful lot of time in the last couple weeks talking about all the people coming in through the southern border that joe has kept open coming from moran and syria, other middle eastern countries. but many others are coming from china. many others are coming from russia. why do you think they are coming from those countries to this country? >> there is no good coming out of it. it is really serious that you have just the thousand that we know from yemen and lebanon and iran. that doesn't count afghanistan. you are talking about china and russia. all it takes is one. it takes one to have a 9/11 moment. we have got to secure this border. you've got to stop having that flow come in. look at the fact that hamas broke through a barrier to do all they did in israel. we don't even have a barrier. they are coming through and we are not betting them. we don't know who there. we don't know what's happening. we've got to start paying attention to the threats in this world and start realizing there are enemies out there that hate us. if we don't start securing and protecting ourselves come thing bad will happen. >> neither the department of homeland security secretary mayorkas or fbi director christopher wray can say with any certainty how many people have entered the country illegally and how many people may have ties to terrorism. ron johnson of wisconsin, the senator, thinks it somewhere around 8 million illegal immigrants that joe biden has allowed into the country unvented and that includes the, quote, "got a ways. my question to you, i don't have any doubt that among those 8 million people that there are people with terrorist ties, people that will plot, plan and scheme a 9/11 or worse. i would say it's 100% certainty. i will add this caveat. i pray to god that i'm wrong. >> 240,000 came in last month. 13 known terrorist, suspected terrorists, came in through our border last month that we know of. 13. how many do we not know of? it really is a dereliction of duty. there is not an american in this country that feel safe right now for what is happening. we've got to put an end to it. it's not that hard. defund sanctuary cities. for 25,000 more border patrol and ice agents on the ground and let them do their job. stop catch and release and do catch and deport. go back to the mexico policy so they never step foot on our soil in the first place and they have to process from there. we have to do it. our schools can't continue to take this. our hospitals can't continue to take this. we can't continue to have the crime and we can't afford to put americans at risk. that is what joe biden is doing every day. he's putting america at risk. he has one job to keep the people safe and he has not done that. >> let me ask you this. you are in a pretty unique position to answer this. we talked about this the last time you were on the program. it has to do with globalist organizations. for example, tell me if i'm wrong. the united nations of which we pay billions of taxpayer dollars every year to fund it has been historically anti-american and anti-semitic. is that a true statement? >> that's a true statement. >> okay. my question is, why are we funding it? why do we bother to participate? then we can go to the who, another globalist organization. did they not cover up or what they knew about china and their role with the covid-19 virus? is that true? >> that is true. they are bought and paid for by the chinese. that played out in realtime. >> okay. then we have the w ef, world economic forum. it seems that the world economic forum is about taking american money and redistributing our money around the world when we have 35 or $36 trillion in debt. is that an accurate statement? >> that is an accurate statement and i will add to that. we gave $50 billion to countries, foreign aid to countries and giving it to countries that hate america. we have to stop giving money to countries that hate america. yes, the world economic forum is full of them. >> okay. next question. donald trump got us out of the paris climate accords. we pay the bulk of money for it. joe biden brought us back into it. correct me if i am wrong. governor if you prefer. isn't it true that the paris accords affords china and india in developing nations status so they pay next to nothing compared to the amount of money that we are putting into that globalist deal? >> well, that is what is happening at the united nations. china is considered a developing country at the united nations. which we said was absolutely ridiculous because they obviously are not a developing country. the problem with these organizations is the reason we got out of the human rights council. it's the reason we stopped any usaid going to the palestinian refugee organization. it's the reason that i was ambassador that we cut $1 billion off the top at the un. all of these organizations, the world health organization, we should get out of it and stay out of it. this all started when we help china get into the world trade organization. we saw that as well. bottom line we need to be developing relationships with friends india, japan, south korea. we need to start focusing on the philippines. let's build up our relationship with arab countries so we can feed iran. that is better effective time then to go and sit there and pay too much attention to these organizations were all they do is talk about it over and over and do do anything. >> by the way, iran where if a woman does not cover her head could be murdered and get the death penalty. or if you are discovered to be gay or they are going to kill you in iran and give you the death penalty. they are now the head of the un human rights commission. that's not even a bad joke. that is how corrupt that organization is. my final lead up question is this. should america wants and for all cut ties with all of these globalist organizations? if you ever became president would you do that? >> if i become president we will get out of the human rights council. we would certainly not get back into the paris climate agreement. we would get out of the world health organization. the only thing is we would defund the un as much as possible. the only reason you don't get out of the un is we are one country of five that has a veto. the number of things we were able to stop china, russia and iran from doing with that beat all matters. you keep bad things from happening. we don't have to pay at the level we are paying and we don't have to be at any of those other organizations. >> ambassador nikki haley thank you so much for being with us. we appreciate it. at this are we are monitoring pro- palestinian protest that have reportedly turned violent. this outside the dnc and washington, d.c. with rioters now clashing with police. by the way, chad is reporting that the house office buildings have all been closed because of it. we will continue to update you with that and show you pictures throughout the hour. but first let's not forget the biden family raked in millions of dollars from china. according to investigations in the u.s. senate and house, millions more from other sketchy foreign nationals all over the world. china, ukraine, russia, romania, because extend. they did it without any clear services that they rendered. even the grandchildren got paid. joe might have gotten paid. it is certainly clear that zero experience hunter got paid a lot. now the new house speaker mike johnson is taking the impeachment inquiry to the next level with a plan to place key witnesses under oath in the coming days. my next guest served his country as vice president without enriching his family through foreign cash. recently he did drop out of the 2024 race for president. has continued to advocate for american values. he and his daughter authored a brand-new book and it is entitled go home for dinner. advice from how faith makes a family and family makes a life. joining us former vice president mike pence and his daughter charlotte is with us. before we get to this novel idea because i have not been home for dinner. i am now in my 28th year at fox. i am guilty of being absent from a lot of dinners. let me ask you about what we see unfolding in israel, what we see unfolding in the world. some of the questioning, the line of questioning i was bringing up with ambassador nikki haley. i am just curious. none of these institutions seam to be working. you handled things very differently in the trump administration. for example, you were a lot tougher on china. for example, you put tariffs on china. my understanding is, and correct me if i am wrong, my sources tell me when it came to conversations that you and president trump had with president xi, they were brutally honest and what the response would be if he acted the wrong way. is that true? >> that's absolutely true. it was five years ago that i represented the administration at the apex conference. i met president xi. different than dinner and cocktails and warm conversations and agreements. unlike we heard announced tonight. although i welcome the fentanyl cooperation. at the conference i gave a tufts speech. i told china that we were done with their military provocations in the pacific. we were done with their trade abuses. we had invested a record amount in our military. in a short period of time we imposed $250 billion of tariffs on china. i don't know exactly what happened in san francisco. it doesn't sound like much came from it at all. the thing i know having spoken to president xi and having been at a forum identical to that with him, china understands strength. this is a moment of time where we have an administration from the disastrous withdrawal from afghanistan, from the weakness that joe biden has projected around the world. the kowtowing to china, begging around to get back in the iran nuclear deal. now more than ever we need new leadership in this country and we need a projection of strength i say as a private citizen no longer involved in active politics that i didn't sense strength and our president's words tonight. >> i didn't feel that he was forceful at all. do believe i am correct in my belief that china, russia, iran, north korea have formed a new axis of evil? >> i don't think there is any question about that. that's one reason that as i have said many times we need to speak with one voice in this country. america stands with israel. israel does the hard. which is going to be months to hunt down and destroy hamas. i believe that america needs to continue to stand with the people of ukraine until they repel the russian invasion. because of russia and iran and china and north korea have created a new axis and standing in solidarity as the leader of the free world is the only role for the united states of america. >> listen, let me switch gears if i may. charlotte, great to have you. you wrote this book with your dad, go home for dinner. advice on how faith makes a family and a family makes a life. i was watching your interview on "fox & friends". you guys were great together. i can't imagine your dead angry and hissed off. i can't imagine him yelling. did he ever have a few of those moments? he's a very even-tempered man. >> he is extremely even-tempered. i had one of the makeup artist at fox ask me. he is so nice. as he always that nice. i said he actually is always that nice. of course we have our disagreements as a family and i think everybody does. that's one thing we talk about in this book. the dinner table is where family members learn how to disagree with one another. it is something that americans could learn how to do a little better. >> i was shocked when your dad described when he was growing up, he wasn't allowed to speak at the dinner table. it was dad's time to speak more mom's time to speak. the kids were not allowed to speak. did that happen at your dinner table? >> no, it didn't, actually. i think we have a chapter in the book that is about parents listening. it says be a parent who listens. i think my parents do that really well. they taught us how to respect one another and let everybody take a turn talking. i don't think it is done in harm. he has done a lot of speaking in his life. >> the book is phenomenal. >> sean, my daughter and i wrote this book together. it's meant to be a very personal story about our family. but we are a very typical average american family. buy putting faith and time with our family first, we have really been blessed. we hope people will grab a copy of go home for dinner. i think as i said in the beginning talking about large global issues, we need a stronger america. the strength of this country has always come from our faith and family. the best way to strengthen family today and strengthen america is to go home for dinner. >> all right, thank you mr. vice president. charlotte, great to see you. bookstores around the country and amazon. when we come back israeli forces made disturbing discoveries after they rated the hamas command base inside of gaza's largest hospital. we will show you what they found as we continue. we are in beautiful nashville, tennessee. there are some things that go better... together. burger and fries... soup and salad. like your workplace benefits and retirement savings. with voya, considering all your financial choices together can help you make smarter decisions. voya. well planned. well invested. well protected. meet gold bond daily healing. a powerhouse lotion that moisturizes, heals, and smooths dry skin. with 7 moisturizers & 3 vitamins. and... new gold bond h
