>> steve: thank you very much, carley. it is 6:00 in new york city. this is wednesday, june 19th, 2024. welcome to "fox & friends." the white house doubling down on claims of cheap fakes. never heard of those until this week. and flattering manipulations of biden videos but the president isn't helping his case much as he appears to fumble over the name of his own dhs secretary. listen to this. >> thanks to all the members of congress and homeland security secretary ---going to get -- i'm not sure -- going to go away. all kidding asides. >> steve: huh? >> ainsley: fox weather alert heat waves ramping up across america with sweltering heat warnings janice is tracking the temps. >> brian: school board banning cell phones and social media use during the school day. a board member who proposed the board member. while he says the entire country might follow their lead. >> steve: "fox & friends" starts right now and remember mornings are better with friends. ♪ so we begin with this, illegal immigrant who is accused of tying up and raping a 13-year-old girl at knife point in a new york city park is due in court today. >> ainsley: and we're learning new details about his arrest and how he came into our country. >> brian: and what these good samaritans did to bring him to justice. doug luzader joins us now. >> illegal immigrant accused of almost unthinkable crime in new york will be in court today facing this slew of charges. christian inga-landi is accused of threatening two 13-year-olds a girl and boy before tying them up and raping the girl. here is a look at the charges that he will face, rape, brian, kidnapping, sex abuse, menacing behavior, unlawful imprisonment, injuring a child and criminal possession of a weapon. is he a migrant from ecuador. caught by a group of community members. they held him for and then waited for police to arrive. the biden administration meantime is offering condolences to the family of a maryland woman, rachel morin, mother of five who police say was killed by a 23-year-old illegal immigrant. here's the white house statement. we extend our deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of rachel morin. we cannot comment on active law enforcement cases. fundamentally we believe that people should be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law if they are found to be guilty. former president trump meantime blamed biden. >> another biden migrant was arrested for the savage murder of an innocent american woman, rachel morin, 37-year-old. mother of five. nice woman. everybody loved her. if i was president, he would have never been able to come in. he would have never been able to come in. >> rachel's mother, meantime, struggled to understand how this happened. >> it's a senseless death. i mean, who would expect almost 2,000 miles from the southern border somebody coming from another country, coming into our small town and just randomly attacking someone and brutally murdering them? that's -- it's like we have opened our doors and you let a stranger into your house. >> the alleged perpetrator an el salvador native was arrested in oklahoma sitting at a bar. back to you guys. >> brian: this is amazing. there is too many murder stories to keep up with let's focus on the one you are holding. >> steve: the cover of the "new york post" this morning shows town hall, queen's bodega workers catch and tie up the migrants expected of the rape of a 13-year-old girl. this is extraordinary story. we showed you the video yesterday of the guy being carted off to the cop shop. but, as it turns out, after this story broke, where the little -- the 13-year-old boy and girl, couple of friends were essentially kidnapped in a park in queens, that guy is alleged to have tied them up with shoe laces and then he is alleged to have raped the girl. these videos of the encounter went viral after the new york city police department put out instagram things hey if you know this guy. as it turns out, somebody up in queens recognized him. said, you know what? he goes to this bodega all the time. they waited for him all of wednesday -- monday that is to say, and as it turns out, as soon as he came out, they grabbed him and you can hear in the background one of the people going hey, where is my 10,000, because there was a big $10,000 reward for him. >> 2022, a federal judge ordered the expulsion of this suspect. but that never happened. nypd did say that d.n.a. is being processed, the federal government took his fingerprints and his d.n.a. down at the border. and that evidence is now being processed to see if he is linked to any other crimes. when trump was in wisconsin yesterday at that rally, he talked about how he grew up near this park. he said i grew up about 20 blocks from this park. i used to take my bicycle over to the park. i would play baseball and other things in the park and come home. he says you can't do that anymore with our kids. what is happening in our country is so bad. when i'm reelected i will begin removing these criminals immediately. >> lawrence: for the short time i have been in new york. do you know how much of a dirt bag you have to be to get people in the city involved. typically people will see fights happening and they don't get involved. someone acting crazy on a subway. no one does anything. but they knew he was -- the guy took him down, the other one said we spotted him and got him. this just shows you how bad and pervasive the issue when it comes to illegals doing things within the community for feel take it into their matter and then call the cops afterwards. they did the work. then called the cops to pick him up. >> brian: 1:00 in the morning they waited for this guy. scene him in the bodega before. went and chased him and got him. cowering under the car. got him out, tied him up with belts and reportedly roughed him up a little bit. >> lawrence: he cried and they said that's the same thing that the young girl did when you were abusing her. >> brian: i hope they all get $10,000. all of them. >> ainsley: they recognized him because they had seen him before saw the mugshot and said we know this guy. >> brian: jeffrey flory, as soon as we saul him we pounced on him. waited all day monday for the sicko to come. eventually a&e arrived to buy something. interesting they called the cops and said we got this guy. >> ainsley: how brazen he is to stay in the neighborhood. >> brian: they tried to kick him out. he wouldn't leave. then you have the other situation where this guy tries to with rachel morin this guy tries to get across our border three times. once in el paso. twice in new mexico. the third time he gets in as a got away and then he starts killing. he kills in maryland. drinking beers in tulsa. we finally get him. guys, i agree with the former president. the worst is yet to come. they are all here 7.4 million all here. larynx lawrence only a matter of time that i hate to say this but before it hits your community. until and so you have two huge s that highlight the desks at the border and the end game of it and then you got the biden administration who is giving more amnesty out, saying that people don't understand what is actually happening at the border. watch. >> we can both secure the border and provide legal pathways to citizenship. we have to acknowledge that the patience and goodwill of the american people is being tested by their fears at the border. they don't understand a lot of it. these are the fears my predecessor is trying to play on. >> brian: what an insulting idiot. we don't understand people that are breaching the border? we don't understand overwhelmed border patrol. we don't understand what our drone video has revealed? we don't understand what bill melugin and griff jenkins have been pumping outs and revealing over in san diego slatest break point? we don't understand what the governor was forced to do, despite you suing him over in texas with his own barbed wire and shelby park? what don't we understand about that? >> ainsley: the parents of these children, of the lady that was five children, 37 years old, her mom was on with sean as we just saw. she understands. the mother of this 13-year-old little girl understands. mother of laken riley understands. the nursing student who was killed allegedly by an illegal immigrant in athens, georgia. here's the deal. there are two different messages from two different candidates. i have joe biden's message who says -- claimed even yesterday that the border was secure. he is fast tracking many of these to citizenship. is he giving legal status to 500,000 illegals that are married to american citizens. but then have you trump who says i had a great border policy. joe biden came in and did away with all of that i will close the border immediately. two different messages. which message do you likes a an american? >> steve: no kidding. that's one of the reasons why border and immigration so high on the list right under our money, which, you know, i don't remember that. we got john cheel, no, city police department coming up at 6:20. i just saw him in the green room. is he ready to go. meanwhile, let's talk a little bit about this, very important for the biden campaign these videos of joe biden where he is at different events. keep in mind they are so much stage craf. they want him out. >> lawrence: takes a lot to get him out. >> steve: how does he get to the airplane from the limo. how does he get to the limo to the stage. >> lawrence: without falling. >> steve: read the prompter and get off. the unfortunate thing is in those unscripted moments, like where is he in italy, what does he do? rather than looking at the parachutist in front of him he starts looking at one behind him. and then the italian prime minister goes over and drags him over, hey, mr. president, all the cameras are are there way. the white house says that there are people out there who are trying to make joe biden look bad and says that this video, which we have shown from you start to finish for the most part is fake, it's not, watch. >> i think there is so much misinformation, disinformation as we have been talking about, you talked about the video of the president wandering. and it's not true. right in the president wasn't wandering. he was talking to a parachuter that was right in front of him. and what you saw is the republican party really manipulating what was being said and what was being seen by the american people. it's also very insulting to the folks, the viewers who are watching it. so we believe we have to call that out. >> lawrence: she is insulting us alleging that we're not seeing what we see and then shifting the blame. you know, steve, you have talked about this before. about the spin. and we all know the white house press secretary, that's her job to spin for the white house. >> steve: to protect the president. >> lawrence: at least come up with something more original. say something like the president, you know, admirlsz the paratroopsers. it wasn't the right time but he did wander over there say something like the president couldn't dance at the juneteenth thing, so he just froze, but don't deny, what all of america is seeing. >> steve: that's why it's so damaging, when you look at the polling, it's all partisan, the entire thing is partisan when it comes to the mental and cognitive situation of the president. when you look at republicans, 92% of production are saying look. there is a problem there. independents is 72%. but then when you go to democrats, it's 29%. so the independents and republicans are seeing it. but the democrats feel, ainsley that, they have to protect the man. >> ainsley: how can it be fake? we saw barack obama grab his wrist and pull him off the stage. >> steve: come on, joe, let's go. >> ainsley: saw the prime minister of italy walk over in front of all the world leaders and turn joe biden around so he would face the direction all the other world leaders. >> steve: it's not edited. >> brian: really unbelievable that kjp would leave her communications meeting and go i got a great thing to do. let's condemn republicans. let's call the "new york post" a super pac for the g.o.p. let's contempt anybody that would just say look at that video and think this guy is too old and he might just be out of it. and there is a difference between not dancing. i'm a master at it. anybody seen me at a wedding. i do two things. i help the bride and the groom by not nottens dancing. but i don't freeze in place like a robot. >> steve: i have seen you, brian, you have a pulse. and you might sway a little bit. the juneteenth video is extraordinary because. >> ainsley: you have a pulse. >> steve: 100 people in the picture and only person not moving. >> brian: look at his hands, too. his hands are frozen. >> steve: frozen indeed. every person i can see is moving. that's the problem -- the white house. >> ainsley: not even dancing they are just swaying. not even a dance just swaying. >> steve: is he just watching. >> brian: if you watch him put his glasses on with the g-7. see how gingerly he is putting his glasses on. >> ainsley: so slowly. >> brian: as if someone -- you can't manipulate that video. he looks frozen. and i will give you example. mitch mcconnell froze twice after his head injury. nobody said he didn't freeze. can you imagine if anybody said well, leave mitch mcconnell alone is he fine. no he is not fine. now is he fine but then he wasn't. >> lawrence: brian, the most damaging video is the video of the former president barack obama the way he grabs joe biden. >> steve: why did he do that. >> brian: biden people are mad at that. >> lawrence: stop putting him in this position. stop leaving him -- there is no other foreign leader or think about in the days when the carters were still out on the national stage, hey, there walls no grabbing the carters by the wrist or former president clinton like, that just does not happen. >> why did barack obama feel like he had to do that? you know, kjb said the president was just taking it all in, then why did obama say okay, joe, it's time to go. >> lawrence: obama was standing next to him taking it in and is he waiving like most other world leaders do. >> steve: the reason the white house is steamed there is undercurrent about it okay we have deep fakes we can't have bad-looking video and then yesterday at that dreamer event at the white house, what happened? >> lawrence: did it again. >> steve: joe biden can't remember the name of the guy he appointed to dhs secretary watch this and listen to it. >> my name is joe biden, i'm jill biden's husband. [laughter] thanks to all the members of congress and homeland security secretary -- [inaudible] all kidding asides. >> brian: who manipulated the video was it ainsley or you, lawrence? i don't know. >> ainsley: that is so hard to watch. [garland] >> brian: going back to delaware prepare for a week for these debates. and, you know what? i just find if youment to say -- if you want to spin something that's one thing. to say attack people that reveal the video and say that's edited. >> ainsley: i can't believe that's their narrative. they really think we're going to buy that that republicans are so desperate: i don't mean that's their spin do americans buy that? the video speaks for itself. >> steve: that's why the white house is terrified. once you look at that video and you think is he just freezing or taking it in? is he freezing. >> brian: watch trump's speech yesterday. i watched a lot of did, and he was right on message and sadly he has got a lot to work with illegal immigration not sending their best and saying doesn't like hispanics. no, no. i got examples for you. queens park i grew up in. the example for you, the name is rachel morin. the example for you the next attack that's going to be coming. one of the words is just getting settled in. there is 7.4 million people here illegally and then we find out about a scheme to get these people refugees into the caribbean. and then fly them here. cuba, honduras and nicaragua. turns out ice land, france, they are bypassing our whole system. >> ainsley: european countries that wealthy people go for investigation. >> steve: bonjour, welcome. >> ainsley: also serial deported immigrant deported 16 times driving 18-wheeler in colorado, and got in a car accident, and a man died. a man died. a 64-year-old man scott miller died. there is that chinese national with a murder warrant that was arrested crossing the california border. >> brian: amazing. i didn't think we knew anything about the chinese migrants because they didn't cooperate. we knew this guy was a murderer? >> steve: here's the thing. he was work working for a company he did not have a driver's license. >> brian: maybe infringement on your rights. >> ainsley: your company you can't ask for your drivers to show license. >> steve: maybe he had a deep fake driver's license. i don't know, but unfortunately a man in colorado is dead. more on this throughout the morning. meantime 6:18. carley down studio j. >> carley: that's what we decided upon. international concerns we go. right now we have a fox news alert. russian president vladimir putin and north korea dictator kim jong un are holding a joint news conference. this comes after the two nations signed a strategic partnership deal overnight. during putin's first visit to pyongyang in 24 years the two nations are promising to help each other in the event that either is attacked. the new deal signals a strengthening relationship between the u.s. adversaries, expanding their cooperation and building united front against us here at home. now to some primary results starting in the great state of virginia. house freedom caucus chair bob good is locked in a tight battle against trump backed primary challenger john maguire. the race is currently too close to call. because of the juneteenth holiday vote counting will start tomorrow. hong khong cow. navy can't face off against democratic incumbent cincinnati tim kaine this november. in october tom cole wins the g.o.p. primary outright against well-funded challenger paul. south korea senator sighs to be former president trump's running mate. raise money political advocacy group affiliated with scott. so world's wealthiest businessmen expected to talk ranging from tax policy to crypto-currency. and oh boy this news was all the rage yesterday. justin kim timberlake has a court date lawyer will represent him driving yesterday wild intoxicated. documents claim the pop star was pulled over after blowing through a stop sign and veering out of his lane in the hamptons. this votes timberlake in handcuffs after one witness says he was wasted at a party. timberlake claims he only had, quote, one martini but he also refused to take a breathalyzer test. this new surveillance footage shows timberlake driving in the hamptons minutes before being pulled over. california governor gavin newsom is looking to ban smart phones in public schools. the democrat telling politico i look forward to working with the legislature to restrict the use of smart phones during the school day when children and teens are in school, they should be focused on their studies, not their screens. this comes after the los angeles unified school district voted yesterday to develop policies that would ban the use of cell phones during the school day with some exceptions. a board member from the nation's second largest district will join us in the 8:00 a.m. hour to discuss this topic. guys, it's an important topic to talk about. and it seems like the trend is going towards banning phones in schools and putting more restrictions on social media. >> steve: about time. >> ainsley: seems like a given, you wouldn't be able to use social media at school. period. >> steve: california is leading. >> carley: clearly given those two states and the makeup of them this issue has bipartisan consensus.
