what can you tell us? >> reporter: we know nine people died as a result of this crash. at this point, four people have been identified. of course the pilot jimmy leeward and also authorities announcing that michael joseph wogan, 22-year-old from arizona who suffered from muscular distrophy, wheelchair bound was in the v.i.p. section and died. mr. wogan described as a magna cum laude student and had a weapon development business and lived a life filled with independence despite his disability. we are told that george and wendy hewitt died. they lived in seattle. airplane aficionados, members of an airplane club. the medical examiners office needs to still identify some victims or notify next of kin. >> thank you very much, dan. . another plane crash is under investigation this weekend. this one in west virginia. it happened at an air show in martinsburg. the pilot of the t-28 had just kpleetd a demonstration when the plane dived to the ground. investigators are talking to witnesses. part of president obama's plan to reduce the deficit is to tax millionaires more. how will that fly? >> no. >> will, will it fly? >> no. >> what he is trying to accomplish with this idea? >> i don't know, don. it's true that it is unfair that millionaires pay less in effect of taxes than secretaries but it is unfair you are not taxed on getting health insurance through your employer but those who buy it are taxed on it. it unfairly rewards homeowners over renters. all of the unfairnesses are symptoms an the sickness is a tax code that is riddled with exemptions and loopholes and deductions. president obama has suggested, he's given lip service to correcting that. but when he comes out with a patch like this, designed to catch the rich guy, it sounds like class war populism than actually attempting to fix the problem. >> so you are repeating what republicans have said that it is class warfare. is that why you think it won't work because of the reasons you said or because republicans in washington don't want to work with the president. >> i dismiss the idea that the republicans don't want to work with the republicans. they suggested they will go for tax reform. president obama said he will go for tax reform. president obama has put forward a proposal, don, that is something that he knows they will put up a fight against. why not go for something both sides have suggested they are willing to consider. >> why do you think? is it that or the president doesn't want to -- i mean republicans don't want to work with the president. >> the republicans do not want to work with president obama to solve any issue coming down though 2012 election. will, i love you but you are crazy. the republicans are not going to do anything that will make president obama look good. they talk about class warfare and ignore the fact they have been trying to disassem able one of the last barriers middle class americans can be and that is through the unions. anytime you allow the education system to get dictated by how much you make versus how important it is to be educated, that is class warfare. i think it is ridiculous to have that argument. >> go ahead, will. >> you are a bigger cynic. if president obama didn't put together a package that had corporate and individual tax reforms and did away with reductions and loopholes and put entitlement reform the republicans wouldn't go for it because they don't want to give president obama victory? >> of course not. >> they wouldn't go for that? i'm asking. >> no. they wouldn't do anything to help him look good before the 2012 election, period. >> let's stop there because i want to move on. let's talk about presidential politics. we had the cnn presidential debate last week and we had new numbers on the economy as well. i want you to listen to former president clinton. this is him this morning on cbs. he is explaining why democrats shouldn't panic as james carville, his former adviser suggested on cnn.com in a column. take a listen. >> i understand what james was saying and he wants president obama to be re-elected, but when you are out there running against yourself and people feel miserable it is hard to see your i numbers go up. when he has a real opponent and they get to evaluate real alternatives and see other republicans respond to his speech and his plan, including a lot of ideas they have supported in the past, then i think we will be in a different world politically. >> all right. that's why i stopped you guys. it is a continuation of the conversation we are having. lz, is it panic time for the president, or is bill clinton right? >> i was really disappointed that james carville used the word panic because i think head a lot of good ideas. if president obama implements any of them, it is easy to tie it in to looking like president obama is panicking now. so i agree with president clinton. i think he is a brilliant politician. he's absolutely amazing. it is very early and he's right. barack obama is running against him and people are feeling terrible. >> i will let you finish up. >> i think the republicans will win the next presidential election if they would stop revealing who their candidates are. at this point we have two weeks of hope left. >> say that again. >> bill clinton -- i said we'd win this election if we stop saying who our candidates are. we have two weeks to put forth a candidate that doesn't shoot himself in the foot. mitt romney has a real chance to win the election. president clinton entered the race on october 4th. that gives us two weeks left to put out a candidate. this is my personal opinion, if it were with chris christie, paul ryan or jeb bush they would win in a landslide. >> i love paul ryan. better than michele bachmann taking the ticket. >> you have to answer that. why? >> when you look at what he said the past six months you can't tell me the moderates will support that man in the white house him having that power and that authority basd on his politics and his class warfare, yeah, i would love for him to get in the race. >> we're with out of time. >> l.z., i love you, buddy, but i didn't hear a single reason there. >> to be continued. always appreciate it. three days from now, the death by lethal injection, the call to save a man on georgia's death row grows louder. we are looking at the evidence that sent convicted cop killer troy davis to death row. that's next.
