around the economy. the economy is objectively better than it was a year ago and two years ago yet, this poll blows him out of the water. >> laura: wow, did you ever think you would hear that from cnn. they can't even spin this anymore. now, at one point they even had a banner up that read bad news for biden. and it sure is. 67% of democrat leaning voters say they want a different candidate for 2024. we warned about this earlier this week that the democrat party leadership was tuning out what voters want in favor of what the donors want. and, remember, the establishment likes a figure head president who is not going to rock the boat. now, 82% of democrats now say that they just want someone else as their nominee and 62% say they are strenuously concerned about biden's ability to serve another full term as president if he is elected. >> joe biden is like that grandpa that you love, that you believe, in you owe a lot. but you start to wonder, you know, would you give this grandpa a high stress job for six more years? >> laura: well, the microphone just slid down there. this is live tv. what i can i saying me now ned ryun. mark levin former democrat member of the house of delegates. ha. i'm sorry. my makeup artist just walked in here and she is crawling on the floor, guys. what the heck just happened? is there a nuclear war? has this begun and no one is tell me? it's just the microphone falling down my shirt. what can i say? mark, to you first, how can democrats explain away those numbers? is it possible? >> well, i think if you look at the numbers before an election year of every single presidential race, you will find they have no bearing whatsoever to that race. i remember 12 years ago being right here on fox news and they were telling me obama's numbers were in the tank. there was no way he was going to win re-election. he did. ronald reagan had terrible numbers in 1983. won solid re-election in 184. i don't think they mean anything now. >> laura: is that right, ned, the numbers don't mean anything? >> i have to agree with mark, which may be one of the rare times in life i actually agree with him. since 1996, democratic presidential candidates have gotten 48, 49% of the popular vote in the election year. i have to tell you, laura, there is nothing more undemocratic than a democratic primary. democratic voters are going to have to accept that joe biden is the nominee enforcement seriously, who is going to challenge him? it's not going to be newsroom. it's not going to be whitmer and go to the logistics of ballot access. if someone has the actual courage to step up to the plate and say all right i'm going to do what the democratic voters want. they still have to have ballot access to be in the primary. those deadlines are coming up. a lot of people in power who find the empty husk of biden very useful. they are also making the calculation that a billion dollars in superior ballot collecting efforts in 2024 are going to overcome the abysmal approval numbers. >> laura: i mean, mark, people could say well, republicans want someone else other than trump, but i don't think so, not looking at the poll, not looking at the polls. but, let's stay on the most recent poll numbers for your guy, joe biden, because they are not moving. on the economy, he hovers in the mid 30's, sometimes a little bit lower than that. that's the number one issue facing americans today. so it's pocketbook issues of groceries, gas, energy prices for your -- heating your house and so forth, clothes. so, again, those are the nuts and bolts issues. and is he just doing abysmally on all fronts. >> look at the objective numbers of the economy, right? you have the lowest -- you haven't seen a lower number since 1953. people have a job in america. it's been 70 years since we have had better employment. inflation is down to 3.2%. >> laura: survey that american workers, i think, are at their most unhappy state for, i don't know, was it two decades? just came out late today. i mean, workers aren't happy, ned, i think it's because their dollar is not going as far. they can't buy as much. this idea that everybody is working, well, everybody is miserable, it seems like. >> and their wages are going up, too. >> the point, you know, democratic primary, i think, is kind of a done deal, laura, i think biden will be the nominee. my only caveat being this. if the empty house collapses in the summer of 2024 and they realize it might be unten nabil they can't just can't take it to the finish line you might see a full revolt in august by acclimation the delegates and super delegates we have had enough get newsom and will michelle obama. one of the polls not too long ago donald trump was beating biden by 10%. democratic primary being one thing. you get into a general, and you start to realize it's the independents, it's the independent and the working class that i think are going to be obviously an important demographic coming into the fall elections in 2024. >> >> on that as well. it is the independents. i'm sorry, go ahead, laura. >> laura: the senate democrats have been asked by reporters, including fox news hillary vaughn about whether bidenomics and how bidenomics is working. watch. >> with the problems we have had in this economy today are the ones we have had for 30 years. >> gas prices have gone down, they have gone up. i anticipate they will go down again this fall. we will see what happens. >> whatever it is called, bidenomics, whatever, you have to look at the good that's happened mark lawyer, well, mark, the good that's happened, again, they act -- this is my problem if i'm a democrat and i'm wanting the democrats to win. not every problem is a messaging problem. but they treat it like a messaging problem. and that's not -- that's not been working. they have been trying to spin bidenomics one way or another for the last year and a half, two years? >> why don't we look at an objective measure misery index coined by ronald reagan against jimmy carter. of the misery index right now is lower than at any time during ronald reagan's presidency. you have inflation at 3.2%. you have unemployment at 3.4%. it's below 7. and it takes time for the public to realize the economy is doing better it. did for ronald reagan. it did for barack obama. it will for joe biden as well. >> laura: what is happening to real wages, ned? where are real wages? you are talking about gal wages i'm talking about real wages. >> i'm talking about inflation adjusted. >> laura: not compared to 2019. >> americans are staving off terrible economic status right now with credit card debt. we are over a trillion dollars combined for americans. and they are paying their mortgages and their car payments, all those things. at some point the music is going to stop. and the question is when. so, no, in reality, when people are having to live off credit card debt to pay for basic life costs? at some point that's going to end and it's is it going to end this year or next year at some point that has to stop. real world with real americans out there. they are suffering in this economy. >> workers are doing better under joe biden. in fact. >> laura: that's ridiculous. mark, you don't believe that i actually. >> look at the bureau of labor statistics. >> laura: who cares? labor statistics doesn't actually measure how people are doing right now because in poll after poll after poll they say the country is going in the wrong direction. they say they don't have a $400 for a basic emergency, something that kamala harris even had to admitted in an interview last week. >> that's been true for decades, unfortunately. >> laura: people just don't know how good they have it. that's essentially your argument. bput that on a bumper sticker. i don't see how that works at all. you have to go the way can you go. ned and mark, thank you. california screaming, is a small business fought back during a brutal smash and grab robbery. tonight, one of the workers is here to talk about what was a harrowing experience. but, first, the left no longer has the courage to protect women in this country. my angle is next and it explains. ♪ we face as educators is how do we motivate students to invest themselves in learning? when we set out to develop acellus gold. we decided to take this challenge head on. what would happen if student motivation was built directly into the dna of the learning experience? the first time i saw students learning on a acellus gold. i could immediately tell this was going to be a game changer. we designed a series of immersive learning activities that are locked until the student completes their daily assignments. these activities, such as the write a book feature, are tailored to the student's grade level and offer engaging learning experiences in a less structured environment. i love the way acellus integrated social interaction between students taking the same classes. the system connects students by allowing them to share positive messages about each other's achievements, and it leverages peer encouragement to propel students forward. acellus gold has helped our school create an environment that fosters excitement and enthusiasm for learning. >> laura: sister act. that's the focus of tonight's angle. now, when an individual born a man who now says he's not is allowed to join a college sorority, most americans either roll their eyes or just disgusted. but not msnbc because they think a trans person playing dress up is a hero. after all, it's historic. >> artemis lankford, who is a student at the university of wyoming and made history last fall as the first openly transgendered woman to join a sorority. being the first can be incredibly hard. >> laura: well, i would say it's probably incredibly hard to be one of the pledges who didn't get in that sorority when a biological male did or maybe other sisters who were still in the sorority. >> there were a lot of uncomfortable moments in the sorority house. and it just goes to show the importance of women's spaces, ultimately. we were never told it was a unisection space. we joined under the impression it was a single sex organization. >> laura: we invited artemis lankford on the angle last night and tonight. instead of a yes or no we received a note from lankford's lawyer who said quote the most heinous allegations made in the lawsuit were untrue. but, regardless of lankford's personal behavior or how his presence made certain sisters feel or not feel, why should sororities feel compelled to allow biological men in as sisters? well, the woke media, of course, they don't have any questions about any of this. only congratulations. >> artemis lankford scored a major legal victory in when a judge dismissed a suit brought by six members of the capita kappa gamma sorority kick her out of the chapter over trans. the brave woman tell center joining me now. >> thank you for having me. i'm doing okay. this very unusual in my experience to be able to have this opportunity. >> laura: well, i would say it's pretty unusual in everyone's experience watching this. but, in this upside down world that we live in now, if you believe that men are men and women are women. if you believe that boys and girls should have separate locker rooms and separate sports teams, that men should be able to have fraternities and women sportsororities, and if you have say any of that out loud you are the oppressor. >> you are thinking about this lawsuit and how members of your sorority didn't want you to be a part of it. what is that like for you? >> it's been a very difficult year, to say the least. being in a media cycle. even though i didn't necessarily want to be, given all this attention, just because of my identity. >> laura: wait, wait, wait. a trans person named artemis pledge ago sorority and getting in didn't want attention? that certainly doesn't match up with comments this person made last fall in the campus newspaper. saying i feel so glad to be in a sisterhood of awesome women that want to make history. they want to break the glass ceiling. trailblazing, you know, and i certainly feel that as their first trans member. hmmm. is this a celebrated trailblazer happy to be in the fight or a victim? langford wants it both ways. >> the shear terror of being in a lawsuit and not knowing what happens next, especially with threats online and harassment both physically and online has been very hard on myself and those that are in my chapter and campus in general. >> laura: no one should ever be threatening anyone, but if you feel like you are being punched watching this, it's because you are. langford's attorney insists that artemis is not a man. it's legally a female. now, we asked what legal steps her or his client has taken to secure a change in designation but have yet to hear back. again, it's beside the point. legal semantics aside, the angle's point here still stands. like i could identify as a a pen quinn and my friends could call me a penguin but it wouldn't make me a penguin some sorority big corporations. they become less concerned with serving their customers or their female members and more concerned with placating the left. check out kkg's guide for lgbtq awareness. respect for a person's identity and self-label and pronouns and recognize that there is not one acceptable way to transition huh? where's the part where a sister's religious liberty and conscious rights are respected or maybe even facts or basic human biology? i guess those are out the window. how sad that the once great democrat party is now tied up with all of this nonsense. the so-called champions of women are now standing with people like former collegiate swimmer lia thomas, born a physically powerful young man but now pretends to be a woman. thomas dominated in the pool to win the women's ncaa championship last year, total travesty. but no more so than rachel lavigne, the ultimate dei biden appointee that luminescent paragon of femininity recently traveled all the way to alaska and visited and praised an lgbtq health clinic famous for replacing the word mothers with the word egg producers. nice going, rach. the party of jfk has become the party of jfi just fake it. because it doesn't take courage to demand your trans rights on a college campus. that's easy. but it does take courage to stand up for basic truths, when all the well-funded, powerful forces are aligned against you . all right. joining me now is patsy la evangelical a former capita capita gamma foundation president and member ever the independent women's network and paula scanlon stand with women's spokeswoman at the iwf and a former swimmer at the university of pennsylvania where she was a teammate of lia thomas. we recently received a statement from langford's attorney. they seem very lawyered up here for some reason which says the plaintiffs in this case chose to join a sorority that openly accepted transgender members after ms. langford was welcomed the plaintiff sued for half a million dollars. the court was direct to dismiss the plaintiff's claims at the outset and was correct to remark that the allegations regarding ms. langford were unsubstantiated and unbee fitting in federal court. well, paula, when you join the women's swim team at u. penn, did you know that it accepted transgender members because that's the argument that langford's attorney made with success on this sorority case. >> i had no idea and in fact i never thought that would be a reality. i'm sure the girls at the sorority also exend to be in a female only space when they joined the sorority. i don't think this is something any woman expects to have happen and female spaces, no matter how small, no matter how sacred are being invaded by people who identify as women. so what happens the point of even having them? what's the point of pledging a sorority if it's open to anyone? >> laura: patsy, you were in a leadership role at kkg which was one of the most renowned sororities. is it the oldest sorority in the united states? it's got to be one of the top two whether a's happened here as i look at artemis i feel sorry for him how is he being used as pawn in a chess game. he was basically pushed on this chapter and he absolutely needs -- needed attention but not the kind of attention that he would get in an all women's sorority they expected to be in an all woman all sisters only sorority. and then to be faced with having to deal with artemis i don't believe is he a victim. i feel sorry higher ups that usehood typically break this glass ceiling. in one way he is not a victim. he had choice. he could have said i have some issues. i need to have help with those issues. and any number of organizations would have stepped forward to help him instead we have that situation. yes, that case is being appealed. one of the things that really stuck out in the case to me was what the judge said is and this is kappa cap a pa gamma could define a woman the way they wanted to. and that's not right. >> laura: that's what is happening. because if someone says -- if someone born a female says no, now i'm a male, and you call that person a female maybe i think it's suspicious and. facts don't really matter. interesting. gallup released that study earlier this year. that poll that found that nearly 70% of americans believe transgender athletes should only be able to compete on sports teams that correspond with their actual sex. but, as usual, paula, this is -- this doesn't matter for people like in the biden administration who, you know, have their own views. watch this. >> do you think it's fair for girls to have to compete against biological males? >> it is a complicated issue. it is truly a complicated issue with a wide range of views. a wide range of views. there is no yes or no answer to this. it is complicated. we want to make sure that while we establish guardrails, that we also prevent discrimination as well against transgender kids. >> laura: all right. paula, she is seeing the poll numbers on this. this is a political nightmare for the democrats. that's why it's all so complicated. it either is or isn't. it's either -- this person is now allowed to change their, you know, biological sex or whatever they are calling it, and we're supposed to all, i guess, just celebrate and wave the flag or else. >> yeah. exactly. and it's so interesting to me because i think they are starting to realize that even democrats think that this is ridiculous. and they are trying to walk it back but still stay true to what they have always been saying. and it's a losing issue. nobody in america has common sense believes that men can magically become women on sports teams whether it be with n. a sorority or bathrooms. this is a losing issue the fact people can't see that allowing something 70% of more of people agree with become law and rule i can stop coming on the news and talking about this, i don't understand why they can't just do that. >> laura: i think as we saw, patsy, with this issue with kkg there are probably a lot of young women who don't like this but they are allowed to speak out it. takes enormous courage for someone like paula and riley gaines and a few others who have come out to speak but they get hammered in the woke world for what they do and what they say. >> yes, they do. it is scary to think that we have to fight this issue that has never been an issue. it's pure nonsense. i was reading in x in twitter sol has tweets out. she said i have always tried to be very logical. this is her quote. sex vs. gender debate but i have to admit that at the moment i am angry. i'm angry because i have to continue wasting my time saying men are not women and that the fact that they are taking this and running with it the way they are is nonsense. they can go right down to the biological cell and each cell, a woman's cell has x chromosomes in it and a man's cell has y chromosomes in it they can go ri
