primary with months to go. in the wake of joe biden's performance had some advisors concerned, now you're seeing some numbers to back up that there is a rise with some of his competitors. one of the big questions is not just the polling but also the finances. on june 30th, that was the last day for the finance deadline, we should start seeing some numbers rolling out soon. we've seen numbers first coming from pete buttigieg including $25 million raidsed in the second quarter. that's triple what he raised in the first quarter. what that means for pete buttigieg. six months ago nobody knew who he was. even though the poll numbers aren't there, financially he is there. he has the financial wherewithal of $22 million cash on hand to extend himself throughout the primary. will the numbers follow that? that remains the question. as the new cnn poll shows things very fluid and clearly changing depending on the day. >> phil mattingly, thank you.
