just i have got a shouted message if i can shout you down and get people around you, that's when a guy like me has to bail because the conversation with the first guy we showed. that was all about making the questions the story and the question asker. not the conversation. >> brian: watch "the big money show" today weekdays every single day 1:00 you are one of the stars. thanks so much for doing it. >> ainsley: the second hour of "fox & friends" starts right now. ♪ ♪ >> ainsley: we begin this hour with the latest on the race for the white house. president biden sounding confident when it comes to re-election hopes new polling puts him behind former trump in a rematch. >> lawrence: peter doocy is live at the white house with more. what is the president saying right now? >> what did he say? it's been interesting because president biden you're of the general election day. we are getting this from a closed door fundraiser. since i took on trump, we haven't stopped winning and he hasn't stopped losing. but there are some prominent liberals who are not so sure. >> the biden harris coalition could be called the humpty dumpty coalition right now. just falling apart. just falling apart. the latino vote on the ground. the black vote on the ground, this is not good. >> peter: the biden campaign pushback despite the hair on fire sky is falling tone we have seen from media coverage over the last few days political predictions more than a year out tend to look a little different a year later. joe biden has been counted out time and again and proved pollsters and pundits wrong. the problem though is laid out in these "new york times" polls. you look at nevada, trump is up 10. georgia trump by 6. arizona, trump by 5. michigan, trump by 5 it. pennsylvania, trump by 4. the "new york times" columnist charles blow is writing it is ridiculous to ask people to ignore the erosion of biden's support among demographic groups that he must secure to win re-election. i sense a growing dissatisfaction with biden, particularly among young minorities and the war in gaza is only making it worse. so i had a chance to ask president biden about these terrible poll numbers. >> peter: why do you think it is that you are trailing trump in all these swing state polls? >> because you don't read the polls. 10 polls. 8 of them i'm beating him in those states. 8 of them. you guys only do two. cnn and "new york times." check it out. check it out. we will get you a copy of all those polls. >> you don't believe you are trailing in battleground states. >> no, i don't. >> peter: and true to his word, the president about two hours later through his team got me a copy of those polls. they were all national polls, though. and four of them that show him either leading or tied with trump are three-way polls that give biden the lead when r.f.k. jr. is also on the ballot, which may wind up being the big story here as the general election gets closer. back to you. he came right over to you number one. number two, he almost expected the question i hear those polls weren't exactly the standard that fox usually goes by where we could use them on the air. >> peter: our polling unit led by dana blanton they have very specific standards for the polls we can use just the way they are conducted, who is polled, how many people they survey. and so four of the polls that the president's team got to us are not up to the fox standards. they are just kind of things you see them online social media. not up to the fox standards. but they do speak to the trend. i'm not surprised that the president came over because he knows that he has got to talk about stuff like this when we ask about it at the press briefing room, they say they can't tell us anything political about an election because of the hatch act. they don't want to talk about donald trump's legal problems. but, at some point, we are within a year of the election. they have got to talk about donald trump, if he is going to be the republican nominee. and so, it's great that he came over. he seemed like he was in great spirits. and we hope there's more where that came from. because there will be more polls. >> lawrence: peter, he is not just gonna have to deal with cornel west and r.f.k., but now he has to deal with jill stein with the green party as well, which is going to take votes from them. any reaction to that from the white house? >> pete: well, the polls that they showed are basically showing that those third party candidates are also drawing support from donald trump and so i think the folks here would say that it's just too soon to tell. it. >> brian: there asking about to be a lot of trump talk. the only thing he will run on vilifying donald trump. we saw the first shot with hillary clinton. well, it's hillary clinton. no, she is a democratic stalwart and it's going to be brutal when worries me. trump wins, half country will be convinced that we just elected mussolini or stalin. that will further divide the country. i understand opposition research. they go to such a degree to the other side that i think it really destroys a country. >> look what they did to your point, brian. just in the midterm, the demonization on the abortion issue but left of center the marines in the background with the ultra maga extremist. if you think that was bad and then now you look at the economy and the state of our border and what they have done overseas, they are going to take it to the max. >> lawrence: ainsley, do you think they are going to be able to make that point in the hitler comparison when we have people that are supporting hamas in the middle of the street, the moment in time right now using that as a description of donald trump, the standing with israel do you think that's going to work with voters? >> ainsley: you know, i don't think so. hitler destroyed, he killed 6 million jews? i mean, the worst of the worst. the guy burning in hell the most, probably. i don't think can you compare the two. they want to paint that picture. but, donald trump did a lot of wonderful things for our country you might not have liked his rhetoric and what he did on twitter. look at the state of our country and where we were. we had closed borders. we were energy independent. average withdrawal had not happened raush didn't invade ukraine. we -- he was tough on china. he -- what else? oh, israel. israel would not have been attacked under donald trump. donald trump would have supported netanyahu and biden is, but is he walking a fine line. is he saying we support you, but he las vegas sees his poll numbers dropping. he is saying let's do a pause. let's don't go into palestine or palestinian authority. let's don't go into gaza right now. let's do a pause and pushing that. >> brian: in iowa, which would be the first caucus in january. the governor famously just endorsed governor ron desantis, the attorney general went with trump. brianna bird. watch. >> president trump is the one who will fire joe biden and win our country back we were better off when he was president. strong economy, strong country. our border was secure. he fought for farmers we feed president trump back to make america great again. is he strong he is too long very well in my home state of iowa. i think people recognize that biden's leadership they remember what it was like under president trump and they want him back. >> lawrence: it's not our job to tell candidates what to do or not to do in this republican primary. i have been very consistent on this from the very beginning. if they want to be president. if they want to win the nomination. they are going to have to win republican voters. and we see it every single week with diner after diner, state after state. rally after rally. you see the bulk bulk of the republican party siding with donald trump. if you want to win, it's not going to be endorsements that are going to get you across the finish line. this endorsement is way too late. it's going to be the voters. they haven't been able to win the votership. >> pete: someone once said to me about somebody else hey, maybe they said it about me -- you're a great leader if only you had followers. and that's sort of what you're talking about right now. there's a lot of great candidates on the stage, but the energy is clearly with donald trump. you watching the courtroom the way they have gone after him and seeing it day after day after day. and republican voters say this is our chance to right that wrong, considering what was done to him. so, what's interesting though, guys, is what happens on the democrat side. you mentioned -- peter mentioned r.f.k. but now you have got joe manchin as well who announced yesterday that he is not seeking re-election in the senate. right? which makes it more likely republican could say pick up the senate because that will be a pickup for republican unless west virginia. is he going on -- is he not going to stay home. he is going on a speaking tour. >> don't know what that means. >> ainsley: going to try to unite the country. >> pete: here is a part of what joe manchin said yesterday on x. >> i have made one of the toughest decision in my life and decided i will not be running for re-election to the united states senate. what i will be doing is traveling the country and speaking out to see if there's an interest in creating a movement to mobilize the middle. and bring americans together. >> brian: that was an indication. >> ainsley: he could be running as an independent. he could run with the no labels campaign. remember he went to that event. he will could run for president under the no labels party. who knows what he's going to do. he also is losing in the polls to jim justice. jim justice has announced is he running. he is the governor. is he loved. he is the republican. maybe he doesn't want to lose and go out with a winning record. >> brian: whatever you want to say about joe manchin. they would have added a bunch of states and pack the court. he and sinema said no. he let everybody down with the inflation reduction act including himself saying he was misguided on it. he did a lot to stand in the way. i mean, that's the way it used to be. there used to be people that had to be won over by issues. this is where republicans are voting. this is what democrats are voting for. i find it fascinating. before we get to trump is that the democratic party is blowing up before our eyes. we're watching them genocide joe with the most liberal people in our country on the streets on fifth avenue go into the most liberal newspaper in the country, "new york times," and try to take it over with the most liberal activist group, mostly in their 20's and 30's. i'm sitting there going they don't even want to turn republicans, moderates, they are blowing each other up. it's almost like the bill maher show as liberal as it gets says i don't recognize my party anymore. now joe biden thought i was representing the democratic party. what happened? and then, pete, your heart goes out to them. [laughter] >> pete: very much. so terrible about this kind of infighting. i wish they would just get along. i really do. [laughter] >> pete: to your point we are here a year from the election looking at polls which say trump and biden. the x factor is that third party, is it r.f.k.? is it jill stein? is joe manchin? >> brian: cornel west. >> pete: even 3% in a battleground state could be the difference in either direction. we have seen that time and time again. ross perot, jill stein, different examples from our history where the static binary choice is not what it will be on election. >> ainsley: a lot of democrats blame jill stein for the 2016 loss. they think that hillary clinton would have won if she had not jumped in the race. lawrence lawrence a lot of democrats concerned right now because all the minority groups, blacks, hispanics, then you have got democrats jews that are concerned about where the democratic party is going. but, when i talk with voters day to day, they are saying financially, they are just not making ends meet. donald trump said people are just better off under him. watch. >> americans better off today than they were three years ago? >> no. they are way off. they are paying $5 for gasoline? they were paying under $2 -- i had at one point where it was 1.51, 1.87 i talk about a lot. 1.87. big periods of a 1.87. now it's $5. that really ruins it for everybody. you know, energy is so big. and oil is so big. that when you have something that goes from like 1.87 to $5, $6 in california $8, that just stops the economy. more than interest rates. more than anything. and it's having a huge negative impact on the economy. the inflation is an absolute killer for our economy. >> brian: when you mention minorities what also is hurting hispanic voters, the president is within 10. black voters he went from 8 to 22, still trailing -- biden still has 70. and trump is trailing when it comes to women. we will see if that gap closes depending on how they campaign. lawrence lawrence lawrence if joe biden only gets 70% of the black vote, it's over for the democrats. the democrats' entire strategy are voting blocks. if they can get this, 90% of each voting block when it comes to minorities then they win. when you have black supporters giving him 30% the republican party that destroys their entire game plan. >> brian: people ask themselves what is more important, national security, our border? inflation, getting an electric car even though the market is not there or abortion? the only thing democrats have and joe biden thinks it's him, is the abortion issue because the republicans can't message the hobbes decision. >> ainsley: kitchen table issues. >> pete: wonder if we can get to that conversation at all. >> ainsley: maybe through joe manchin we can he is going to unite. >> brian: with his daughter going to unite the country. >> ainsley: james biden, rob walker business associate they were all subpoenaed by kolmer for house oversight. enough to he is announcing is he going to subpoena other individuals like the art dealer. so we will find out more information who withheld the records and the prices and the final buyers for hunter biden's art. also art patron and two business associates. >> brian: we already know hunter is going to get a subpoena. we know that jim is going to get a subpoena. hall is going to get a subpoena and tony bobulinski. so, by the way, hunter biden with his legal team, challenges the laptop owner. now is he challenging bobulinski. he is trying to sue bobulinski for defamation. bobulinski goes great, let's do this publicly. i can't wait because everything that he said three years ago that everyone ignored, now is coming up. and now we can go back and now people might be listening. >> lawrence: comer was on with hannity and he said there is more interviews to come. watch. >> we requested interviews with another ten. and we still have a few more to go. at the end of the day, we're going to be asking around two dozen people that have a great deal of knowledge about just exactly what the bidens were doing. all we know is that the bidens received millions and millions of dollars from foreign nationals and from oligarchs. these were people that -- i like to say were bad people from bad countries. >> pete: it will be very interesting to see when this happens, who shows up, who tries to defy a subpoena, whether it happens publicly. >> ainsley: who bought the art. >> pete: who bought the art at what price do. they actually disclose it and does it have an impacts on joe? >> lawrence: do you think it's breaking through. average day people? >> brian: most people are starting to say he is up to something. >> lawrence: with the democrats do you think that the information that they are seeing out there now, that joe biden is corrupt. brian. >> pete: you are hearing the conversation not just on the sidelines. is joe the guy? you are seeing a guy like dean phillips and cornel west and jill stein. right now and it was r.f.k. before they booted him out. right now it's on the margins. i think it will take a big figure inside the party to make a definitive statement before anything -- >> ainsley: do you think a lot of people will stay home and not vote at all. >> lawrence: i do. >> ainsley: two candidates trump and biden. >> brian: lot of candidates now. seems like a plethora. also great to see the new art from hunter while you guys were talking i was able to look at the art and make a bid on it. while carley does the news i will start bidding. >> carley: i thought all of the art was done via straw. there was pointalism make a large paymenting with individual little points of paint. >> brian: why would you do that? >> carley: why don't you google the history of art. >> brian: why would do you that if you have bigger brushes? >> carley: this is why you are who you are. you always ask the hard-hitting questions. >> ainsley: paint by number. >> carley: i do have more news to get to rolling along right here. and it starts with this. a nashville college freshman has died days after being hit by a stray bullet. jillian ludwig is her name shot while walking in a park near belmont university. the suspect who is expected to face upgraded charges is no stranger to police. he was arrested earlier this year for assault. but the judge in that case ruled he was not fit to stand trial. police in texas are still searching for the vandals who spray painted anti-israel messages outside congresswoman monica delacruz's office. it's the second incident this week at the same location. and a message on social media delacruz says she will continue opposing anti-semitism and support israel's right to defend itself. remember this lady in the texas woman who went viral for outburst on airplane speaking out last night on "jesse watters primetime." she says that moment that went viral not her best. >> it's an insane situation to be in. not a proud moment whatsoever. i knew it was going to go viral but i just didn't think it was going to go that viral. >> gomas says her parents have been incredibly supportive and she didn't leave her home for weeks following that incident. she is interviewed by jesse. >> brian: parents supportive? >> ainsley: what did she say on the plane that was so egregious. >> carley: she was standing in the front of the plane that guy back there is not real. stand stay on the plane and die or leave the plane. she is now saying she didn't see anybody on the plane. she apologized. >> brian: she said she made it up. >> carley: people is like is she part of the cia. >> pete: someone thought she had left something behind. not good. >> carley: questions remain. >> lawrence: looked like a totally different person with jesse. >> brian: going to look it up? >> ainsley: we have all had a bad day. >> pete: bad day and making up a lizard person on a plane bad day. >> ainsley: look, it's not that big of a deal. we were all -- everyone just passed it around because a lady screaming on a plane. we want to hear what she is saying. we do forgive her. >> lawrence: we have to. >> brian: i don't. i do not forgive her. >> ainsley: were you losing sleep at night because of that video? >> brian: i have not slept. i have not slept. if she could just take up pointalism with that little brush. worked for hunter exactly right. >> pete: now we will try to transition to this because veterans day is tomorrow. and in honor of our nation's heroes, fox news is once again partnering with u.s. vets in the camo for a cause. >> ainsley: look what brian tried to do hide his dunkin' donuts cup. >> lawrence: fox news branded camo products are available including shirts, mugs, hats, as well as ties. pete is wearing one. >> brian: now through november 12th, 20% off proceeds will go to donated to u.s. veterans and their causes. >> you can use the qr code that you see right there on your screen or head over to
