welcome to one nation, i am brian kilmeade. among the best, dan, first, his perspective on we can update today and rake new series, which album, a deeper thinker and better writer in america, i'm not sure who it is, he's right great message, a story ripped from the headlines yet is fiction, who will discuss that with him, will begin with growing volatility in the middle east, we've been watching israel on the defense the most start this pain is for october 7 and somehow they've lost the pr war we seen the idea who enter gaza making great progress militarily but struggling to justify nontraditional military targets like hospital. they assume the world knew the tactics of the ruthless terrorist group and understand what hamas was all about but that changed this week, they stopped waiting in israel. israelis realize they had to do something about it, they told us about the butchery october 7. now if you want, you can see it from a they are bringing reporters and to view it. i have an offer to go monday to see it although i didn't need proof. they are going to release footage of the tunnel as well as the weapons, too. ak-47s, who talk about grenades, battle best, all of hamas insignia on them, hidden in a week of gaza's largest hospital, not the place you keep weapons, would you? more proof hamas has no issue putting civilians in harm's way. you could say is the mission to do so. burning, beheading innocent people, children up to 800 and one day alone. we can't make sense of the senseless violence, your detritus two men that have covered these wars and doing it for us, a lot of time in the middle east region, witnessed firsthand for go to the mind of a terrorist. trey yingst has been underground since the start of the war in contact with members of hamas in the past and benjamin hall coming middle east conflict 2006 and wrote a book about the ways of isis and the ukraine form. first things first, the both of you, or you surprised israel didn't realize the headwinds against them even after october 7 and had to tell more of their military story? >> they knew as soon as they moved in to gaza as soon as the bombing started it would start to fade and that's what we've seen since the start of now they need to push back, keep reminding people of hostages in the tunnels and keep reminding people hamas uses human shields because if not, all you see are images and they are terrible and there are civilians dying so we are seeing are people moving toward palestinian, call for cease-fire and not only in the media but we are starting to see it in government as well so they are moving toward that position and that is the difficulty right now. have to the key people reminded their people they have to say, israel is at threat and without going and from a they can't stop this, they have to go after hamas, it's difficult and they are keeping on top of journalists at the camp they are constantly data. >> i've been watching you and tiffany nonstop to "fox & friends" throughout the day watching explosions and the invasion started and not the first time i think they seem to be telling you guys you can go with the idf on the ground and they want you to take these things, they are not limiting to what you can show. i would imagine, what are you seeing and what does the idea if we want to get across when you travel with them into the war zone? >> they have no editorial control over what we put out, we only agree to blur basis of certain folders and sensitive technology that can endanger the troops but editorially we have full control with israeli forces. benjamin raises good points, he talks about terrible images out of gaza and it's a major problem for israel as they try to maintain international support. we know as a fact since civilians are dying against gaza, israelis say they are not going to stop until they bring hostages home and until they destroy hamas but this is not a process that will take days or weeks but rather months and even possibly years as a work to hunt down the leadership responsible for ordering the october 7 attacks. less than 24 hours after israelis enter gaza's largest hospital, we join with forces in gaza city and a firsthand look in the dark of night and have difficult battlefield is, in urban environment operating from inside gaza city footrest from hamas less than a block away as they wish forward in search for information but they are faced with vertical information and it's one so far they say is a trickle effect, they've found so far is the tip of the iceberg. we saw weapons and an mri room, they released video of a single tunnel entrance on the hospital complex. they say there is more information to come out when they discover it, we have to be patient on the reporting and hold them accountable for what they say and wait until we get that information. >> you are located in the uk and there's ministrations for the palestinian cause and the heirs really cause. i'm stunned by what you're seeing, you probably saw a lot of things that were pro- palestinian over israel. does that resonate in the middle east, do you think they know what it's like here and does it matter there? >> i think absolutely the message is pushed around the world. this is a pr campaign on both sides to push up the messaging legacy the barges we seen in the uk, 300,000 people last weekend marched here and quite a few of them wearing hamas headscarves caring anti-semitic signs verging on -ism and very little on the pro- israeli side. there is a big push from the ground to say more people who support israel to rise up and talk about it but the other sense is amongst jews and israelis, i spoke to those who do not want to go out and open but they are jewish the that part is very much one on the palestinian side, i will say in paris last week and you had pro- israel march and tuesday a big one as well so we are starting to see a shift in that direction but this is part of the back-and-forth we are seeing it's going on around the world. >> what does this region need, what would be the right message to send to these forces backed by iran to show we got israel back and they're not going to be a victim? >> when you talk with top israeli defense officials including the defense minister, i've spoken with him multiple times in person since the war began, they explain why american forces are in the region, why you have warships here and it's not to battle hamas, it's a a message of deterrence to proxies across the region, namely the militant group has a lot that has an arsenal, hundreds of rockets, that could be an american response but we talk about the attacks on u.s. bases, we talk with analysts and people watching closely have raised questions about the response if the level of deterrence is high enough because the attacks continue. when we look back in history, i remember 2020, weaver and jordan covering the aftermath of the attack on the american embassy in baghdad and ultimately the response by the trump administration at the time was to target soleimani, a drone strike so there was a response from iranians but then a period of quiet so analysts have pointed to that time. when they are looking at what's happening now. there was a time in the middle east when one or two of the attacks would lead to a significant u.s. response often targeting iranian backed military proxies in places like iraq and syria. >> real quick, you think we need to show strength, you told me that last week, right? >> this is one of the things most infuriating, iran pushes the boundaries, 50 times its attacks u.s. bases, 50 american soldiers injured but only one soldier was injured, killed on president trump had the strike on soleimani. the attacks across iran does nothing, there is no response at all and are questions about whether or not the current administration is pulling back and not doing enough, it's not sending a message to iran and iran is able to do what it likes at the moment. i think the feeling is, it wo won't. >> thanks, guys. >> thank you. >> meanwhile, a trend on tik tok praising bin laden in the latest of the anti-american sentiment raising across the country. i wish i wasn't telling you this, i can't believe this but influencers are suggesting bin laden was justified in the attacks, the claimed the lives of 3000 innocent lives. a letter to america was published on a british newspaper taken down and restored on tik tok. watch. >> i need you to stop what you are doing and thought we'd a letter to america. it's literally the craziest thing i've read in a while. >> he actually had good points. >> he could have left the gaze out of it but the rest of it, he was eaten. >> they have brainwashed us to think we were the best country in the planet. >> disgusted by terror and bigotry and violence, you should be disgusted by the terror and bigotry and violence of the united states government and military. >> tik tok is going to save this generation. >> unbelievable, a view of anti- israel gen z is unthinkable, but battling and dangerous. there's no better person to try to explain it to me and you and hoover institute fellow. first off, your reaction to this reaction to bin laden's letter to america written a couple of decades ago. >> my reaction as many people have said, social media is a problem but why is it that so many young people to begin with our on social media consuming this information but also knowledge from social media? something going on we need to get to and it confirms the fact that haven't been educating these kids. history is not, they don't know the history of islam for their own country, they don't know anything about the history of the conflict is ongoing between israel and palestinians, they been missing and i will say this is a generation neglected and unfortunately we are seeing the outcome of a. >> why don't we inform people about what they think? what they think about gay people? >> gay people should be killed, integrate sin in islam and should be thrown from tall buildings and on social media they should have been looking at what hamas has been doing to gay people, islamic republic of i iran, but isis did when they got a chance and the laws in almost every country, it is the death penalty and if it's not exe executed, you're not executed by a state, you are by your family. one more thing, i would like them to read it because he says explicitly is calling america is long and it is the message either those non- muslims have to put up with this. it's all there in that letter that don't have the context and they don't realize what it is like to live under sharia. these young women on tik tok with makeup, piercings, what do you think it would look like if they actually lived in according to the viewpoint of bin laden? >> the ignorance, arrogance of these statements against ame america, they continued to come in every way, shape in front but this takes the cake. thank you so much, appreciate it. >> thank you. >> you got it. a quick reminder, don't forget to dvr the show every saturday. i want it to cost you in the long run, you need to learn in this is the place to go but asked on this very show, the gop and that it set off a debate over free speech on social media and a little they are self the come, remember comedy, it was funny on snl?
