[laughter] but please don't dare anybody. [laughter] will figure out a way to make it work for. >> is sure will. david axelrod quote is something though. talk about shots fired saint jo biden has a 50/50 chance of winning may be worse. what's interesting is even though obama picked obama as his vp he is on it any confidence in him as a presidential candidate there are reports in 2016 pushed him out of the way of course he is infamous quote don't underestimate joe biden's ability to f things out. we learn that lesson the hard way it is all messed up. his trump looking at the "new york times" poll showing trouble winning in five out of six swing states now trailing with black men, young voters, independent voters, the list goes on. however it my big concern caveat is because joe biden is looking so weak i'm worried about what they're going to try to do with the trump with these court cases are they going to ramp it up? are they going to try to keep them in the court to the general election take up his monies wass not spending or? what's it like 30 doing that. >> are entering emptying him already. respond to this quote they are having trouble in the "washington post" is talking about this for the bad news is everybody is wetting the bed inside abided world. it's an unhappy confluence of biden world donors, cocktail party friends saint can you get him not to run? which is stupid and absurd if you know joe biden. cook's charlie is always depends. [laughter] especially at 81. that would be my suggestion. they are running out of time to try to get joe biden out of the way. clearly i think that is the desire of the party. then you've got the vice president problem who is the most unpopular vice president and i think modern history. then there's two people you have to push out of the way. i don't know maybe they'll try to do some tomfoolery at the convention or something like that. they are running out of time. quick so be difficult if you wait until the convention and charlie you know this matters you're going to miss all these deadlines to be on ballots. you it is significantly handicapped whatever younger democrat you were going to give an opportunity. that is why axelrod is being outspoken. saint do it now. >> is going to be very difficult. not the depends. the only person who polls less favorable than biden s, harrison. they have a big problem on their hands. with student loans and stuff like this to go after young voters but the nbc poll shows a trump losing or biden losing to truck by four points among voters 18 -- 34. listen to it they freak out on nbc news. >> some real stunning highlights here in this pulpit. >> donald trump we have a 46%. biden 44. >> this is significant it is the first time in the history of our poll that former president trump pizza president biden. >> 50 points underwater with the youngest group of voters. >> all the student loan forgiveness was for naught? it's not working out he needs to find more money to give them? >> can i have more money? >> apparently not. the thing that is significant about this we are talking about the aging. it has to be incredibly frustrating for joe biden. donald trump is just three years younger and not suffering the same visual mental decline or even the aging process in the same way. in the court cases lisa brought up if you paint the contrast on one side joe biden i was just in wisconsin i saw the fragility of him to come out and give a speech produce reading a prompter and he goes to trumps in texas getting endorsed by abbot parties fired up on the border which is at issue that's going to significantly hurt biden's administration because the border is a dumpster fire. you got to contrast the guy fighting judges and local courtrooms he's doing the big rallies still. he is out there in the border. and there is a clock ticking on how long a staff can protect them. you have got 500 people writing a letter citing a letter your bosses are nor or northbound isw about one staffer and this white house it sees what we see on the white house press corps science in up sign your name to something and say he's got to go. >> points add complacency is the devil in politics we are so far out from the general election i don't want any one to think this that we've been burned in the past three election cycles include the off year democrats appended the process during covid it's a totally different ball gaballgame prehistorical ne no longer relevant no one can get complacent per quick as you pointed out doctor sapper at the end of the day it is going to come down to these issues i think. people feel how they feel personally about their own issues. coming up covid confessions for the "new york times" finally comes clean about the hazardous effects of school at lockdowns. the most notable admission couldn't leave parents everywhere speechless. that is next. - [speaker] at first, just leaving the house was hard. - [speaker] but wounded warrior project helps you realize it's possible to get out there - [speaker] to feel sense of camaraderie again. - [speaker] to find the tools to live life better. - [narrator] through generous community support, we've connected warriors and their families with no cost physical and mental health services, legislative advocacy, career assistance, and life skill training for 20 years, and we are just getting started. going to be these kids suffering it's our entire society. shame on them. >> amen. let's take a litt it a little fr into the "new york times" editorial. these challenges have been compounded by an says this it generation of students will experience diminished lifetime earnings and become significant drag on the economy. and they did this to them the politicians did this to our children. >> absolutely. if you talk to anybody hiring young people today they will tell you that one of the biggest challenges is hiring people are going to come to work. they are so used to -- the bent of the expense of doing school remotely. and as you point out it also leads to all of the obvious pros with testing and stuff. but also an explosion of anxiety and inability to work through problems you
