>> kayleigh: this is a fox news alert. after nearly 50 days of captivity, hamas has freed 24 hostages, and they say they will release more in the coming days. correspondent jeff paul is on the ground in israel with the latest. >> yeah, and we are learning tonight that, on top of the 13 hostages released today, the israeli government believes there could be another 13 released tomorrow. but the mood right now a bit bittersweet on the ground in israel, because people know there are still more than 200 people being held captive inside gaza. nonetheless, today was a very significant first step, and we could see more scenes like that if this cease-fire that went into effect at 7:00 a.m. this morning holds. here's what we know about people released today. 24 hostages released by hamas, 13 are israelis, 11 are foreign nationals. among the israelis freed, we know four of them were kids ages two to just nine years old. one of the kids, the 9-year-old, actually had a birthday inside gaza while being held captive by hamas. three of them are mothers and six are elderly women, but none of them, any of the three, where americans being held captive, at least not yet. today israeli prime minister benjamin netanyahu spoke about the hostage releasing and said he basically wanted to ensure that everyone eventually gets home. >> interpreter: i emphasize to you, the families, and the citizens of israel, we are committed to the return of all the abductees. this is one goal of the war and we are committed to achieving all the goals of the war. >> what is critical about the time we are in right now is that the cease-fire holds. it ensured that more aid got into gaza for the folks who call gaza home, and it also ensured that the people being held captive by hamas were released. if that holds, we can see more hostage releasing happening in the coming days. back to you. >> kayleigh: we certainly hope that's the case. jeff paul, thank you. the people released today shows with the terrorists targeted. look at those faces. grandparents, moms, children. that's who the hamas terrorists took. on the morning of the attack last month, she was with her 6-year-old daughter. she sent a message to her family. once she realized what was happening, there were terrorists in her house, and she was afraid she would not survive. thankfully they lived and now they are on their way home after almost 50 days in terrorist captivity, in the darkness of those hamas tunnels. two sisters, two and half and four years old, they were kidnapped with their mother while they were visiting their grandmother. their father worried, but now they are home with their father. my daughter and i prayed for those two little girls, and i got to tell her today, her prayers were answered. yafa hadar was kidnapped last month. he or she is in a golf cart surrounded by terrorists. she is now free. one of her grandchildren is still a hamas hostage. he was kidnapped when he was eight years old. he turned nine. he had his ninth birthday in captivity. he was taken along with his mom and his grandmother. he had sent out birthday invitations for a party to his friends. unfortunately he will not be attending his own party because he is in the hands of hamas terrorists. i am told he's a brilliant chess player and a wizard with the rubik's cube. his mom abducted, as well. >> you can look at the picture, he is 9. happy birthday, wherever you are. you deserve to be out and about with your friends, not held in captivity by monsters who have conducted one of the most horrific massacres on earth against innocent people since the holocaust. >> kayleigh: that was on october 23rd, when i had that conversation about ohad. his mother, his grandmother, now free with him, but his grandfather and father are still hostages. former israeli diplomat and spokesperson for the israeli consulate in new york, you just saw him, that october 23rd conversation. he joins me now. i was live on "outnumbered" today at noon and we got the 13 names, and trey yingst reported, ohad, who you ask our viewers to a happy birthday, was freed. but it shows the heinousness of these terrorists, that they separate the mother from the grandfather, the grandfather from the grandmother. >> there was a photo came out of ohad being accompanied by terrorists from captivity to the ambulance, and that picture, frozen. imagine every parent's worst nightmare is to see their children in the hands of such monsters. we love ohad and we are so happy he is home. but like your reporter said, bittersweet, because even though we are filled with hope and passion that they are back, we want to see all of those people back, addicted from their beds in the morning of one of the most holiest and joyous days in the jewish tradition, the feast of simplot simchat torah.>> kayleigh: he as brother, ariel, in captivity. he spent a tenth of his life in captivity. one of his relatives rode this. "we must have the little strength, used a little strength we have to avoid falling apart. we tried to resist the urge to anticipate, hope, celebrate, or even imagine, because never before has someone felt so close and yet so far away." where these hostages were being freed from, i thought of little kfir. >> you ask yourself, with a baby, what do you do and you can't even walk connect who breastfeeds you, who touches you, who keeps you warm at night? the act of cruelty is beyond imagination, and these are the kind of monsters we are dealing with, kayleigh. >> kayleigh: and he wanted to tell me specifically, he said, "i want to tell our viewers about itan." >> these are not just numbers, these are live human beings. he is 12, and his mother says that he is even afraid to go on sleepovers to friends' houses. now he has spent 50 nights in the hands of the hamas members without any member of his family, after seeing his father shot and taken away, and his mother and sisters separated from him. i think about him every day. this photo accompanies me wherever i go, because it is part of my heart and the communal heart of all of those people who seek justice and light in this world. that should be read is. >> kayleigh: any indication tomorrow -- we know there is a list of names the israeli government now has. i know you can't share the names. i don't even know if you are privy to the names. any indication, do we think they will be children? >> the idea is it will be children, even though, when it comes to hamas, we know their nefarious character, so you can't trust anything until you actually see it with your own eyes, exactly the reason the government or any official body in israel will not come out with the information. even when they tell you something, you can't trust it. i can give you an example, the 79-year-old released today, islamic jihad announced that she died as a result of israeli bombardment. imagine her family, one moment that he or she passed away because of that, and the next moment she is being released. these are manipulators of the worst kind, of the human heart, and they know how to target the hearts of israelis en masse, but we are strong, kayleigh. even though we are in tears, our tears are fire of resilience and hope. we will rise and five after this tragedy and we will bring our people back, and the most important message people need to know out there is that we will defeat hamas and eradicate their evil. they will no longer exist on our southern border for the benefit of not just israel, but of humanity. >> kayleigh: no doubt about it. shahar azani, thank you. america stands with you. >> thank you so much. >> kayleigh: israel has a list of hostages hamas says they will release tomorrow. we do not know who is on that list. hamas is holding over 200 hostages, including ten americans, including abigail. we told you her story. president biden was not able to tell us if or when they might be released. >> we don't know what the list of all the hostages are and when they will be released, that we know the numbers that are going to be released. so it is my hope and expectation it will be soon. >> kayleigh: families with missing moms, dads, children, brothers, sisters, and grandparents are living in a nightmare, anxiously waiting to see if their family will be released next, like a family of ten months old kfir we just told you about, kidnapped along with his 4-year-old brother, ariel, and their parents, too. and the family of my next guest, a mom and her three kids were kidnapped, their father and siblings killed. he is the founder of the hostages and missing families farm in new york. omer, thank you very much for taking the time to join. >> thank you for having me. >> kayleigh: your family in captivity, i want to ask you about them. the mother, then you have 17, 11, and nine years old children. tell me about them, what are they like? >> on october 7th, my cousin became a hostage, a widow, and a bereaved mother on the same day. she was taken hostage with her three children, beautiful, happy, sport-loving, educated children, and she was a social worker, very devoted to her children. and her husband and their eldest were murdered in the house. the heart can't bear what they have been through, and we are eagerly awaiting to see them back home. >> kayleigh: i want to underscore what you just said. in a moment she became a hostage, a widow, a bereaved mother, and the question becomes, does she even know it? does she know that two of her family members are lost? >> we don't know. the tragedy is hard to understand, but we are trying to be focused on what we can do, and this is work here in the u.s., in israel, all the families, devoted and dedicated to this cause. because our family, we know what terror is. exactly 20 years ago, before the october 7th attacked, our family suffered another terror attack, a terror attack on a restaurant in haifa. end of the cousins of eyes, five family members were murdered on the same day. three days before it happened. we know the price, we know the consequences, and we are working hard to bring the back home. it is not only about our family, but about all the families that are there. >> kayleigh: omer, when you hear something like the israeli government has a list, we know 13 freed today, 13 of late tomorrow, what do you do? just look at your phone and hope it lights up from the government, with the knowledge that your family is among those to be released? what is that waiting game like? >> you do. you wait. the whole nation is waiting with us, and like shahar said before me, when we deal with hamas, you can't know until you see them with your own eyes. even the list today was surprising, likely heard the story where we thought she was dead. like other stories, you have to understand, families were separated. again, they were kidnapped on october 7th and separated now. fathers left behind. i am a father to a child to and a half years old. fathers are not even in the list. the children were taken from them and got back to israel, thanks to god. we are thrilled to have them. it is a happy day, the good news we needed. it gives us hope and strength. but i want to mention that most of the families released today still have loved ones that are still inside. 79 years old, 78. another, 79. one has two beautiful twins, only three years old, the age of my son. i can't imagine the pain, and we will not rest until we see all of them back home, because it's only the first step of the deal. we want to see it getting complete in the next few days, and then we want to have more deals, because we need to ping them home. >> kayleigh: yes. omer, i have a 4-year-old and a 1-year-old, and my family prays for yours. thank you so much, omer. >> thank you. >> kayleigh: pro-palestine protesters tried to ruin an iconic american tradition here in new york, the macy's thanksgiving day parade. look at that. pouring fake blood on themselves, gluing their bodies to the streets, locking the floats along the parade route. >> liberation! for palestine! >> we are calling for liberation. there's an ongoing genocide and the planet is dying. >> your tax dollars are funding genocide! we are here to free palestine and the planet! [bleep]! >> kayleigh: my gosh. and look at what they did to grimace! poor guy. he just wants to get across town and look what they did to him. hijacking. brads is not how you win the hearts and minds of the american people and the globe, but i don't think that is really the point, do you? emily austen joins me now. emily, it's the thanksgiving day parade, and they grew themselves grew themselves to the street? >> oscar avia goes to... i want to address two parts of this video. they are calling for palestinian liberation. i will join you in calling for palestinian liberation. i care about palestinian lives but i'm not going to be a hypocrite about it. you truly care about liberating palestinians, you will join israel in trying to eradicate hamas, because palestinians live better lives in israel than under a terrorist group government. once hamas is finally eradicated, hopefully we can strive to have dialogue and have a democratic government placed to govern palestine. but to be pro-palestinian right now is essentially advocating for the terrorist group currently governing them. so don't be a hypocrite. you can liberate palestine but then you need to also understand that, right now, a terrorist group's governing them. these people are honestly just so uneducated, and secondly, they are talking about a genocide, but nobody can prove any genocide is happening. according to the united nations, the palestinian population is exponentially growing. if somebody could point out to me where genocide is happening, i'll advocate to stop it, too, but it's just misinformation. >> kayleigh: emily, you have facts. you are giving us facts here. what just blows my mind -- my heart bleeds for every child that dies, an innocent child in gaza, i don't want any child to die. but when you have protesters chanting from the river to the sea, they are chanting for genocide. >> right, and two wrongs don't make it right. calling for the genocide of the jewish people is 100% wrong. all the deaths happening in gaza, i spend my nights crying over the hostages and the palestinian casualties. but i want to point out, there's no military in the world that says, "hello, we are invading at this day and this hour. evacuate. get the civilians out." and hamas is putting the civilians as human shields. every bloodshed, every loss of life, goes to blame hamas. it's not fair that the palestinians have a terrorist group that doesn't let them evacuate when the idf is invading. i didn't see any warning for the israelis on october 7th before hamas invaded. >> kayleigh: no, and i've seen those tunnels under children's beds, those weapons in al-shifa hospital. it is a tragedy. emily, thank you. >> thank you. >> kayleigh: up next, joe biden's poll numbers. polar plunge. ♪ ♪ nexium 24hr prevents heartburn acid before it begins. get all-day and all-night heartburn acid prevention with just one pill a day. choose acid prevention. choose nexium.
